I saw this the other day and thought, 'good for him!'
Great to see a pup with such drive and enthusiasm. His comments about university are spot on, too.
Last night I caught bits of the first halves of the Wales and Northern Ireland games. The commentary was so dreadful, especially in the Wales game, I didn’t bother watching either in the second half.
What Tyler does brilliantly, is just call the game, and he's particularly adept on his own without a co-commentator. He doesn't patronise me with stuff that I can plainly see; he doesn't blabber on talking inane rubbish; and he doesn't go into a match determined to relay all his pre-game research and rehersed, frequently unfunny jokes, that many others do.
I don't doubt he's destined to go as far as his abilities and ambitions can take him. For his sake, I hope the bigger networks allow him to develop and do his thing when he's invariably signed up full time by one.
I won't wish him 'good luck', rather, I wish him 'much success'
