A good result and solid performance against Millwall today would go a long way in terms of consolidation and the progress made to date.
I wonder if we have been trapping the ball in practice, as well as we plan to trap the players on the bus in coming weeks, although so many players are now away internationally. Also major progress.
Whilst the change of fixture times is a joke for so many fans, it does offer an opportunity to tease a few mates on the south coast….
_In further “football without fans is nothing” news, Portsmouth’s Saturday afternoon game at Leicester has been moved to a 19.45 kick off (because who doesn’t want to watch Leicester v Portsmouth at 19.45 on a Saturday night?). There is a train back afterwards, if you can get back to the station by 21.56 and don’t mind changing at St Pancras, Brighton, and arriving at 08.26 on Sunday morning_.
