Will they be available in the club shop?I know they should be.I have a few sessions selling poppies over the next couple of weeks in my local Asda and Lidl.
I’ll also be going to the Albert Hall for the remembrance service on the 8th November but only the afternoon one.First time I’ve ever been there for that.Unfortunately it will mean missing Sheffield Utd away though.

Stuck my first tenner in the tin at Ealing Broadway on Monday evening.
I hope he was legit if it only starts today!!! Certainly looked it with his stall and banner.

No excuse these days with the old “not got any change / cash on me”….. tap that card.

Give generously

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Absolutely each to their own and any poppy is better than none but I find the football ones a bit.. wrong. Can’t even really say why.

I know what you mean - in some sense it feels like football is trying to use Remembrance and profit from it.

On the other, hand if all profits go to the Royal Legion then I think it is legitimate.

Also, football has a good record when it comes to Remembrance - it's a feature of all matches in the pyramid at this time of year.

Furthermore, many of our old soldiers were footballers or football fans themselves. It's something that unites all of British football in terms of history.
