The meeting point is highfield hotel / portswood at 1pm and moving at 1.30pm. Due to a number of complaints from labour councillors and trade unions., who have both done all they can to stop and ban the march (just like all the previous protests outside the hotel). The shortest route was blocked (bevois valley/onslow). The back up route was also blocked via Winn road and down the avenue. SO its now going down st denys road along thomas lewis way (traffic will be diverted up to portswood) then along lodge road and down the avenue to hoglands park.
This is likely to be a total 'one off' march due to new incoming government legiislation and the fact we have left / far left labour councillors and their trade unions. Who have supported the uncontrolled immigration into this country. But sitting on top of all that is the financial costs involved for the police.

Having worked in countries throughout the Islamic world, I know why all these young, single men target England, Sweden and the USA in particular. They are not interested in going to more conservative countries. I asked a group of young Arab soldiers who were about to go for training in the USA, what they were looking forward to there. There was only one answer and it wasn't safety or money.
To be honest, if you were a young single man and lived in a country where that was unavailable to you, you might do the same.
9 out of 10 of the immigrants arriving in small boats are single men, mostly between the ages of 18 and 39. If we accepted married couples, female refugees and males below the age of 12 or above the age of 65, we might get genuine refugees who really need safe asylum here. His social media posts over the last five years has been an embarrassment to the club and fans. I have morals, and despite the fact i watched him start his career when i was a 13 year old and saw his entire career. I cannot ignore the nature of his irresponsible behaviour. Its sad to see what hes become. Only last week, he was promoting the idea that hospitals murdered covid patients for money. It never fails to amaze me how gullible some people can be.
You can dress these demonstrations up however you want but the main reason is racism. Yes the small boats have to be addressed but to think that the state of the NHS, homelessness, the country's state of mental health, pot-holes etc are in the mess they're in because of the small boats is crazy.

The sudden overnight appearance of St George flags the length of the country have been explained away as patriotic. Bit of a coincident isn't it that thousands of people suddenly got a rush of patriotism over night. The question is why weren't they patriotic before that
