| Is it Hamer time? 08:58 - Oct 26 with 3857 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Every time that ball goes in the box my heart is in my mouth, Nardi appears welded to his goal line. Opposition have clearly done their homework on him and he is costing us points big time. I know some will say defensively we should be better, but it must be a nightmare defending in front of him. I mean not claiming a ball in your own 6 yard box! Maybe Hamer should have a go? | |

Footballers get dropped all the time and have to fight to get back in the side / squad. I’m not saying it hasn’t had an impact on him, who knows. Same thing happened to Cook and he’s reacted well. The issues with Nardi this season are same as last. More clubs just aware of it. |
I'm not sure Cook's playing particularly well either.

| Is it Hamer time? on 19:45 - Oct 26 by JamesB1979 | Were we trying to get rid of him? I thought he was told he was going to be number 2 to Walsh. In any event, as footballers, that’s exactly type of thing they have to deal with. |
Of course we were, he was told he could go Of course players have to deal with that but it usually affects performance, we saw it with Paal last season

yeah watched it earlier, I agree Nardi could have come for it but when he doesn't Norrington Davies could have done a lot better to stop the first header and someone anyone could have tracked Morris to stop him walking in to a tap in. I'll stick with it's not all on Nardi, he's partly to blame but not fully for me. It was a collective piss poor goal to concede.

the most illustrious part of Joe Walsh's career is 7 appearances for Accrington in LEAGUE 2 a few years back. Sure, it's different for goalkeepers but he's barely played any senior football at all. It's definitely a slap in the face to a keeper in Nardi with 300 appearances, who's moved his family nowt but a year ago to be here. You aren't making bank off an average keeper with a year left on their contract. I genuinely cannot understand sending Murphy Cooper out to League 1 when Walsh has barely even played at that level, then giving him the starting spot. for all the improved squad building this season this is one part of it that just smacks of Football Manager. Marie’s always been poor with dealing with crosses since he arrived , he has this habit of of making a step forward then quickly thinking nope I’m going back do defence thinks hang on he’s going to punch , catch it, then next second he’s back on his line , cooks hammers him most home games for doing it millwall had chance to come out close the Aval space , steps forward the. Slightly to the side / they score second attempt , sat easiest lob ever no pace defence is thinking he must come and come for this one , step forward then whoops back on his line define hesitates header won , at hie age he’s not going to change his game no matter who’s coaching him !

assuming Marie is Nardi (maybe i'm 20-30 years too young for this one?) then we're really just talking about getting to the end of the season, unless recalling Cooper and loaning one of the other two out is something the club thinks is possible and preferable. we're not talking about Nardi changing, we know his weaknesses so you'd hope we can do our best to cover them. Nothing i've seen from Walsh has convinced me at all, and he has the added complication of never having played first team football for any consistent amout of time. We don't need a GK coach we need a shrink.
