Glad to get that game out the way,the difference this year we are still playing fo the whole 90 minutes. Some of the worst refereeing your ever going to see so bad what he missed.Let’s keep it going Saints a long way to go but as long as we show this fight it is going to happen very interesting.COYR

Saints didn't read the script and we produced our own Hollywood ending. Maybe finally our players are fit enough to score last minute winners.

Our 3 most maligned players put in match winning performances with Manning MOM for his 2o minute cameo! We deserved the 3 points by the end, but Edwards had a nightmare at the back and it may have turned out differently if Moore had stayed on.

Ultimately Saints found a way to win, with an excellent use of subs. Enjoyable start to the season.

Never easy playing against 12 and the ref did his very best to ensure Hollywood FC won. I have been incredibly critical of both Manning and Stephens but both played brilliantly today.

My MOM was Josh Quarshie, looked calm and composed all day, reminded me of another defensive number 17 we once had.

Loved Still's interview after the game, he sounds like a down to earth bloke who just loves football.

An ending that Disney and the 'leave early to beat the traffic' merchants really didn't want.

Wrexham were organised, played the clock well but ultimately sat back - we were playing 3 -1- 6 at the end! and we finally took our chances.

Three 'marmite' players stepped up, Manning and Stephens scored the goals and Bazunu made a key save to keep us in it. Stephens also made 2 great tackles - renaissance man?

Robinson and Charles also had great games.

Great way to start the season COYR

3 points to start a very important season. That is the only thing that really matters
In the main everyone did their job and apart from the pen and header that went over they didn't pose much of a threat
One of the big fellas should play up the middle and AA wide right eg Jay Ross AA and the bench could have more than adequate replacements for all 3
Good to see we have a 100 minutes plus team How many did we concede late last year?

The negatives; the ref, Flynn Downes - thought he was very poor, Wrexhams time wasting (glad it bit them on the arse in the end), the energy of the team for the first half - Wrexham looked more at the races than us initially, the ref, the ref.

The positives; the way we finished the game, Manning - superb cameo role, a managers changes having a positive effect, scoring an injury time winner at home as opposed to last season’s experiences with late goals!

In the first half Wrexham looked well organised, composed and capable of scoring on the break on several occasions. Saints defence looked shakey although Stephens and Quarshie came to the rescue several times. Three at the back just doesn't suit Edwards - he's better as one of two centre-halves in a four.

Second half Wrexham made the mistake of holding back and allowed Saints to create chances that they looked destined to squander. Until Mr Manning entered the scene with a match winning performance. Chuffed for him and chuffed for the captain.

I think Saints got a little lucky there but we pushed the limits so deserved it in the end. Great day for Saints and Saints fans.

Well done for the first win. Very tight game. We need an attacking right back who can defend (unlike Sugawarra) We should take a look at CONNER BARRETT Walsall f.c. Young and very promising !
