Just been looking at his Wiki - he played best as a foil for Queen of Souths Main striker Steven Dobbie - who's now 38!!
His goals in Scotland is nothing to write home about which makes the signing even more perplexing, if he gets 10 goals this season it'll be a mireacle.

why do people say service is bad for dykes?
how many chances has bonne had so far? yes, hes incredibly wasteful and is a really poor finisher
but he regularly finds himself in goal scoring opportunities... this would imply that the problem is not actually dykes services but dykes himself
warburtons stubborness is unreal.... clearly sees what is in front of him and will leave dykes up by himself

The way I saw it is that he was double marked on the left. We tried to drag Stoke to our right, then launched diagonal balls from right mid/ right back trying to find him on his own. It hasn't worked yet. |
Bos looks totally disinterested saving himself for January?
Barbet on a yellow and Dykes missing sitters, despite the bobble I still think that was very poor.
Good on him scoring the Penalties but he's overall looking quite poor.
AS I say his overall stats down the years don't show him as prolific and more a number 2 striker in a two up top side. |  | | |

He's not and never has been a scorer of lots of goals. Dobbie is surprisingly a lot like Chair and although 38 now was a promotion winning scorer of lots of goals for Swansea and Blackpool.
A heavily involved Dykes with support close to him will be a big asset to us. |  | | |
