Well, I questioned whether my support for BBM had run it's course but with this second half display, the players are clearly behind him - absolutely superb.
However, don't let it detract from how poor we were in the first half. There's still work to be done but it's clear the management team and players have the appetite for it on this second half performance. | | | |

It’s been said so many times that direct football into the half decent forward line we have and getting the ball in the box is when we look at our best. Beesley and Humphrys occupy defenders and create real problems so that’s where the focus should be, which means no need for defenders to be out of position to offer angles on passes etc. It really isn’t very hard yet we keep making the same mistakes with the way we start home games. |  |

Finished 3-3. BBM gone from being on dodgy ground to being "relatively" safe in just 45 minutes. Finally can we learn that we need to go directly at teams from the beginning of matches.
Although not mentioned in the posts, Bazunga had a very good game with some key blocks and saves, welcome back. Between him and Lund for my MOM with Humphries putting in a good shift. I'll go with the keeper [Post edited 9 Jan 2021 17:00]

The direct route is so much better than that rubbish in the first half. It was like watching a different team.
The lads have just taken a lot of pressure off BBM. Lund was terrific that second half, as was Baah when he came on.
Edit - Oh and if that penalty hadn't have been overturned it would have been the worst decision in the history of the universe! [Post edited 9 Jan 2021 17:04]
