The more I think about it, I think that was a decent day yesterday.
-Freeman can cover all RWB and Centre Half along with Naughton.
- Whittaker pretty much takes Cullen's place in squad and is one for future.
-Arriola, from looking at this videos only, could do a job in the areas Dhanda plays for us, that's what I'm hoping anyway as I don't see why he would be coming in as a winger.
If Cooper wanted an out an out 9, he probably should have got one instead of Whittaker (no offence to the lad, but it is a decent amount of outlay for a player who will most likely not play much part in run in), and I know I beat the same drum but I think we are a genuine box to box midfielder away for becoming favourites for top 2, but what do I know.

Not sure ruined is the right word. Still has his pace despite multiple hamstring strains/tears. But his potential progression has been hampered by setbacks, even in u23s where he never managed the sort of sustained run of performances the likes of DJ, Rodon, McBurnie, Byers, or even departed players like Cian Harries, Jack Evans and Aaron Lewis did.
He's in that same general category as Cullen for me where even in the best of circumstances it's not clear whether he could make the grade with us, has his strengths but big question marks as well. Hopefully will get chances and stay fit, good lad who deserves a break. [Post edited 2 Feb 2021 9:29]

Agree re Smith, and maybe he was more dynamic going forward in his prime. Now I think he sits comfortably bossing the CM space, in between Matty and CH/Fulton etc.
CH is a massive addition, but still not the young gun we could do with.
There's a risk we can't pick up the tempo enough, especially against the big boys. Matty's definitely more front foot nowadays, but his comfort zone is dropping a few yards to gain more measured, calm control. CH prob same.
What do you reckon about our sometimes lack of zip ?
How can we up the tempo in the middle ?
Can you see Grimes a bit further forward with CH bossing the CDM space ?
