People react and behave by how they are measured...if Steve's bosses tell him they want promotion then finishin ghigh in the table will be his priority...if he can get there by playing pretty football all the better....he is trying to do the latter ..a different style to Brendan and Laudrup possibly more akin to Laudrup who liked getting the ball forward quickly with less side to side and backwards passing.
Im sure his lack of using subs comes down to a budget but Imay be guessing there

Southampton away pretty sure.
I don't buy that he's been underrated. Been very good this season but struggled under Potter (that first game against Sheff Utd he was a shambles and Celina of all people ended up playing holding mid) and did a job last season but we were rightly looking for an upgrade/another option in his position in Smith. | | | |

I've said it before, he was a ruthless man nothing would surprise me, did well for the Swans though, overall, probably cost him a few shillings out of his wealth as well.

Yeap,we're agreed ,seemingly all of us.Can't remember that happening for some time.
Roberts has been terrific and frankly Im very surprised nobody came in for him. Next year Im certain he'll be playing Prem League whether it's with us or without.
Grimes has been encouraged/told/ to shoot more often and has obviously practiced a lot and Im pleased for him and overjoyed for us he has moved up.
All in all ,it's all very exciting but I fear Brentford .I detest them as well | |
