When he came to Swansea yes, but come on you can’t say he’s not of interest now after his goal scoring stats this season ? Not only that the type of goals he is scoring. He’s being mentored and developed at a club who have a good history of doing just that. Take a bow.

I can say with some certainty that he's not of any interest to sides in the Premier League. He's scored 9 goals playing as a striker for one of the top three sides in the division. That's a goal every 221 minutes. There's numerous players who have scored more. Toney has scored 19 (a goal every 115mins), Armstrong has 17 (a goal every 127mins).

Lowe will be 27 years old before the start of next season.

Come on. He's doing well for us lately but he's not going to attract interest from those above us.

He’s a Jordan Rhodes, not good enough for the better sides, but will always do a job in the championship. A level above from where he came 😉

You're basing that all on goal scoring alone, he brings far more to the team than just his goals, he's worked hard on improving his scoring ability, I can see lots more coming from him and he's not a natural strikers like Toney and Armstrong.

Having a go is a fan's right, vetchy. It really is. It's just gabbling .It' what we do prior to the game in countless pubs or we used to .
Then we plod along to the game, all excited and apprehensive then after the gane wonder why we were so uptight about it all.

It is the wonder of sport.

Im on Wales Rugby Forum. You really need to keep away as the stick Im giving Pivac and our squad of boys is far stronger ,some would say slagging off.

thats a fair point but at the moment there is more good tha bad for us at the Swans...yet certain folk pounce at every opportunity to decry our manager whenever we get a blip but never praise.....re the rugby im with you there.we have gone from a succesful side to a joke...the coach deserves alk the stick he is getting

Thank Vetch. That's a quality riposte and a fair one though,I honestly think our fan base is pretty loyal and only want the bet.

Out of contract players ..
As I think Coper (maybe not) said he / we would like a number 9 to come in this January, and one hasn't I noticed Aron Johannsson was mentioned in the WoL as being a free agent.
As two of his countrymen are with us could he be worth looking at as a short term signing to fill the vacancy?

I would guess if you put the words 'free' and' agent' together it gives you an idea of how good he is.

I have to say that I haven't been one Coopers greatest fans, but, looking at the job he's done under very difficult and restrictive circumstances, anyone that can't or won't appreciate the magnificent job he's done/doing, is a fool.

Id agree with that.Cooper,to me,fails to capitalise as he could in some games BUT I really do think he,like Potter ,swims against the tide with these cretins in the USA spewing bullshyte.

He can and will do better ,no doubt about that and his leaving sees u tart all over again. We are desperate for owners with some nous and financial clout. We are not an unattractive package ffs.

Not just his goals either IMO. His pace and hold up play has improved loads. I'm sure he is opening a few eyes to his new skill set. If he stays consistent at this level and we don't go up, I reckon he'll be gone.
