I like the work-rate and aggression. Closing down and tackling like men possessed.
Play is really focused up the wings, with plenty crosses. |
Sweltering in the heat and with nothing better to do, I watched the training vids on YouTube earlier.
The intensity of the training sessions were clear. The ball moves a lot, but so do the players. Fitness will be crucial. I rather think Austin’s engine would have blown up.
Only thing is, to continually play at that level is a big ask. That said, there’s a month of rest midseason. |  |

Poor team 2nd half, I get the need to get some game time into the players but based on that 2nd half side we've got a few passengers.
Kayak and Hamalainen not tracking back and not even in the same class as Adomah and Paal, Bonne took his goals well but still needs to learn the offside rule, Kelman looked lost up front and Masterson is not a Sam Field.
I think we will need least 2 fullbacks and a forward on the plus side I thought that Shodipo looked sharp. |  | | |

Our second string defence is woeful - even Oteh had Hamalaiinen on toast. Feels harsh on 45 mins but I'd be surprised if Gubbins made it even as a L2 player.

The second string team had players who may be ok possibly made to look worse then some of those around them - stick them in a better line up and they may be fine. there was also no Armstrong and Bettache, maybe others, maybe more incoming.
