I don't think we can complain about getting a point. The only thing missing from the game was goals.

Are Burnley just playing until they score?

Oh and there it is!

Bloody good point that. Defended well, looked dangerous on the attack.

Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.

as Brian said, good to see Dickie getting back in the groove.
Great point, good ref.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I thought you just got to take it? Maybe not, probably shouldn’t fck about just in case.

Decent point! Defended well, could of nicked it

Missing a lot of good players and still defended well. Loving our ability to shut teams out but it’s no good for the old ticker.

Think we were pretty lucky there but nice to see Dickie back and playing well.

Currently listening to Dean Smith moaning they should have had a penalty - fk off you tw-t.

I sort of disagree with those who say we got away with one there.

We were equal to them in a game of patches and I’m sure we had more efforts on goal than them.
Senny was great but don’t lose sight of the fact that Tim was MOM, Willock came on and cruised through causing them issues, Chair got on the ball and we were immense in defence.

If we’d win I wouldn’t say it flattered us.

All that on the back of a mini injury crisis

Agreeing with LBlock on this. That was a good result, weaker squad available tonight but every player did their best and it was all about the team performance tonight. Most important thing was no obvious injuries and Willock getting some match time.

Just need to get to the 12th of this month and continue to grind out results. Then we have a month to get players fit and for Beale to work with the squad so we are out of the blocks again after the WC break.

Starting to really like this QPR side, like Disco, starting to believe.

Never knowingly understood

Let’s not forget that Gunn made three outstanding saves himself and we hit the post. Don’t think we were lucky at all. Thoroughly deserved point. Bring them back to LR and we will see the difference between the two sides.

And as for Dean Smith. Yep, total bellend. For all the players at his disposal he is doing a poor job.

I think you're probably right, LB. Hard to tell tonight.

Very happy with the performance. I think they probably had more good chances, but we have a great goalie and to beat us you have to beat him too.

They had 11 corners to our 4.
They had 3 shots on target to our 4.
They had 12 shots we had 13.

I couldn't give a monkey's what they're manager say's.

MATCH ANALYSIS
Norwich 0 QPR 0
Did we deserve this point?
Yes — although we had lots of luck especially with Pukki early on and then Hanley in the last second — both hitting the post.
Thank goodness Pukki — so elusive — did not have his sharp shooting boots on.
He missed other chances too.
In addition — but most important - Seny made several wonderful saves — point blank from Sara, tipping over a Pukki shot and towards the finish blocking a Hernandez drive.
The first two saves were in the opening 20 minutes when we were fortunate not to be 2-0 down.
But what a fightback.
We then matched a side that has Premiership quality — and we could have won it.
There was a low and powerful shot from Tim which saw Gunn make a reflex save after he also saved from Chair.
But most important was the return of Willock.
He made a big difference as a second half substitute and within 5 minutes just after the hour his long-range shot hit the post.
And from the clearance — back into the box — Dykes had a well directed header saved again by the outstanding Gunn.
Huge praise for both goalkeepers.
But our resilience was outstanding.
Our defence held firm — not only at the start but also at the finish.
Dykes may not be the striker that we all desire but his defensive clearances are worth their weight in gold.
This team effort was a massive improvement from the disastrous performance at Birmingham last Friday.
They gave everything. There was a cohesion about us.
We battled hard — yes we rode our luck and we could have snatched a victory.
But this big point will do.
So we’ve won 5 and now drawn 1 of our last 8 matches.
That’s impressive.
We remain fourth - two points with a game in hand behind second placed Blackburn and three clear of 7th placed Swansea and Preston.
We have 3 more matches before the 4-week World Cup break.
We’re home to West Brom on Saturday, home to Huddersfield next Tuesday before our match at Coventry — or wherever it is played - on Saturday week November 12.
If somehow we can glean 6 points and hopefully more — then I’m sure all of us will be well happy.
Going into that World Cup break we would have played 21 Championship matches.
Last year we had 35 points at that stage.
We now have 31 points from 18 games — that’s 2 ahead of our 29 from 18 last season.
We need another 4 points from those 3 matches to just equal that tally when we had — not to be forgotten - a brilliant opening half to the season.
Considering we only picked up 14 points from our last 17 we’ll be in a good position when we restart after the World Cup and maybe finish in the top six.
This has been a great season - so far. Long may it continue.

That was an excellent point away to a team that have an embarrassment of riches available to them.

Given our defensive pourousness recently, a clean sheet will instil some confidence ahead of another big game at the weekend.

Looking at how the league is starting to shape, are we the best in the division? No.

Are we among the best eight in the league? Yes. And tonight probably underlined that.

Iroegbunam was our MotM. Excellent touch and his ability to create half a yard of space helped create breaks and win free kicks. Another great performance.

Thought Dykes's effort and endeavour was good as well, but it was always going to be difficult for him against a good central pair.

Overall, pleased. On to the weekend.

Thought everyone put in a shift today. No one missing.
Tim with a mature performance after going into the book after less than a minute.
Dickie back to how we know he can play. A couple of vital blocks by him in each half.

Chris back and nearly scoring not long after he came on.

Onto WBA at home and hopefully 3 points to seal our place high in the table.
Also players back like Dunne possibly.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Don’t agree. As Mackie said, there was no real pace on the cross and he had to swivel backwards in order to make contact and it was a good header but an even better save.

No-one played poorly tonight, it was a great 0-0. Chances all over the shop. Norwich though, was it just me? Such a bunch of whinging diving tarts.

Iroegbunam, SKY MOM - and indeed excellent, however.... It's not correct, Seny, all day long.

Night all..
