Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 12:11 - Nov 25 with 6966 views | judd | Having made the poster available for fans to print, there has been a grand total of 2 (TWO) requests. This is the best initiative to come out of the club in terms of addressing the empty seats add no value issue, much discussed on this board, and it needs every bloody one of us to get behind it. Talking Sutty will pick up 50 posters on Monday and get them on display across the Borough. A number of Trust members picked up posters and have them on display in a number of local hostelries and sports clubs. On displaying a poster in my local, we immediately sold 5 tickets. We all know that the club had extremely limited resources in terms of marketing, and the best agents for the club are the fans. Many people will already have plans for Boxing Day, but many will not. The Trust has bought 500 tickets, of which about half have been taken up through various organisations and last night a further 50 were made available to the district scouts, who hired the.stadium for St George's Day. I believe the club has already sold about 1,000 tickets separately. There are also Xmas Drawntickets on sale and there are 10,000 raffle tickets to be sold at the Fylde game. All help in promoting this initiative will be greatly received.

Judd, well done on getting the posters online and downloadable, the thing is, we have to have what has been conspiculously missing at RAFC.. constancy of purpose... Good ideas sometimes take time to develop into a useful strategy, it would be a mistake to think that something new will not be successful if it does not take off immediately. Now the posters are available and printable, the next step is to suggest places where people could put them pubs and shops are obvious but what about noticeboards at places of work, libraries, scout huts, schools, hairdressers, anywhere people have time to take a couple of moments to read them...if anyone has any tips from their experience of putting up a poster in their local shop, get them to tell others how they did it. I like the idea they use in America where they print loads of contact numbers or emails addresses at the bottom of the poster so that you can rip one off and use later. If we are going to do more of this sort of promotion, we will get a better idea of where people are coming from ( travelling distance) and what the demographic is like, the important thing is to ensure we can interrogate the data to get clues about how to improve the next iteration of the offer. This is just the start of the journey.

I'm going to try both Gordon Rigg Garden Centres, they have the Xmas displays so there will be plenty of footfall. Rochdale 6th Form College, schools, Rochdale Infirmary/ A&E, Fairfield Hospital, Mc Donald's, KFC, Subways, carvery/ family pubs, train station platforms, Barber shops, bus stations, fish and chip shops, pubs, supermakets...anywhere were people spend time queueing up or waiting.
Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 14:08 - Nov 27 with 6270 views | lyberoc | I already have 10 tickets for the match ,so I'm bringing 9 potential new fans with me , I'll use the saving on my match day ticket to buy Xmas draw tickets so that at least the club get my usual contribution

Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 12:53 - Nov 30 with 5905 views | Dalenet | The club will be delighted with how this is going. There are very few tickets left together in the Main stand and Pearl Street compared to normal. (I know that blocks in both stands are not bookable). Obviously I can't see how many tickets have been bought for the Sandy. But the club is going to need to start planning to open new blocks or the Wilbutts to home fans soon or we will sell out before the marketing campaign has taken off | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 14:20 - Nov 30 with 5793 views | DaleiLama | I bought a ticket when I was half asleep on the night when this was announced and it's in the wrong block. I bought one in the right block subsequently and contacted the club to ask them to refund me - not to get the £1 back, but to release the ticket to someone who wants to attend. Not heard anything back in over a week, so offering it on here. Ideally would like it to go to someone deserving (even though it's only a quid). If I don't get any such offers, it can go to first request. Ticket is Block D-G-5 (Edit: Main stand). Don't want to recoup the nominal cost. PM me if interested. [Post edited 30 Nov 2023 15:11]

Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 14:15 - Dec 6 with 5382 views | Dalenet | The club as just announced that almost 6,000 tickets have been sold (or given away/season cards etc). AFC Fylde have been given 1 block of Wilbutts. And we have less than 100 seats to sell in the Pearl Street and mainstand. And only single seats left in most places around the ground. The marketing has only just started and there doesn't appear to be a plan to open the last block of the Pearl Street or the rest of Wilbutts for home fans. Am I missing something or has a decision been taken not to fill the ground?

I think the Trust reported that the club would release more tickets as and when sales justified it.

I hope so Judd. Sales seem to be going brilliantly well - but I wouldn't come to watch us if I couldn't sit with the friends I planned to come with. With mainly just single seats left this could be a home goal. The article has only just appeared and so they know that this is the position. But great results so far
Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 23:01 - Dec 6 with 5086 views | lyberoc | They opened up block V in the Pearl St today , there are 65 seats left plus one in the main stand, it looks likely that they will have to open up the final block in Pearl St soon [Post edited 6 Dec 2023 23:02]

Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 17:31 - Dec 15 with 4632 views | Dalenet | Less than 190 seats still to sell for this game in the last block of the Pearl Street. The rest of the Pearl Street and Mainstand is sold out. A great effort. Be quick or miss out - or maybe they will open the Wilbutts soon. Hope the club are gearing up to maximise food and drink sales. With no buses running on Boxing Day will those that have been given free tickets be able to get to Spotland? Does the club need to see if Rosso will run a skeleton service to and from Spotland and town?
Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 11:29 - Dec 19 with 4200 views | lyberoc | With the Sandy and the main stand sold out and only three seats left in the Pearl St , does anyone know the capacity of each stand ? My grandson is a mascot for the game and it would be nice to see it selling out One slight concern is AFC Fylde fans are directed to the Rochdale home fans page to purchase tickets from their website, I'm not sure if this is picked up when they enter their details
Boxing Day Tickets for a £1 on 18:27 - Dec 21 with 3734 views | Dale_4_Life | Can Half of Wilbutts not be opened up for Home fans? Have Fylde also been included in this promotion? I thought i read they had to be or that might have been the football League not the national league.
