The suffragettes didn't get women the vote, although it's a great story,but they were given the vote because of their efforts during ww1

I agree. I think the problem is that JSO are alienating all of the general public - even those like me who are sympatheitic to the cause.
The UK is massively outperforming most other countries on climate chanege issues.
