RM has managed to squeeze his favourites into the team against Everton 14:04 - Nov 2 with 2329 viewsGRIM

True to form RM has managed to squeeze his blue eyed boys back into the side today.
JS + AA + Manning all start at the expense of Dibling / Aribo / Sugawara etc.

Poll: Martin out

Sugawara gets Ramsdale out of jail with a goal line clearance against Stoke and is dropped.

Bree scores the winner against Stoke and is dropped.

Dibling who at least attempts to attack is replaced by Adam Armstrong who is at best a Championship striker with a terrible goals per game Premiership record.

Plus it looks on paper as though we are playing five at the back against Everton at home.

We had better win today or Mr Martin is going to be in for a rough ride at 17.00 this afternoon.

Apparently there's been a virus at the club this week with several players affected. Explains why some aren't well/fit enough to play. Those that do play probably won't be 100%.

Just when you think things couldn't get any worse..

RM said in a press conference before the game that the only player still affected by the virus is Ryan Fraser the rest of the squad other than those with injuries have been training as normal.
Even if there hadn't been a virus RM would have found an excuse to play his blue eyed boys.

Strangely the Virus hasn't affected any of RM's love affairs - but maybe it's the reason for Diblings place in the bench. I can't think of another one, but I guess RM could...

Sugawara and Bree were both fit and played on Tuesday.

If indeed there was a virus, surely those players affected with it would have been isolated from both of them for the remainder of the week ?

On the basis of Sports Republic’s recent achievements it probably never occurred to them to keep them seperated.

Well, half an hour gone and I'd say we're shading it. Trouble is, we don't have any goal threat.

And now imagine what Dibling could have done in All those situations, in which AA gave the ball in good areas to the opponent.

Great 3 points, but again we tried to throw away a lead, just love VAR.
"one swallow doesn't make a summer",
we need to back that up with another 3 point against Wolves.

To be fair we weren't THAT bad at City last weekend & did follow that up with a cup win midweek against Stoke. A few days on and our first league win of the season is very, very welcome indeed.

More of the same against Wolves is required. We have a lot of ground to make up. What price three wins on the bounce?

I get such a glow when we win a game
I will celebrate with my nice bottle of red.

And everyone needs to hold their nerve. RM took us up last season. Win at Wolves and things are looking a lot rosier. Sacking the manager can cause more harm than good with upheaval and too much change. The players areplaying for this manager. It came good today. Indeed enjoy a drink or three.

The subs today were a lot better, Aribo at HT, IMO he added some steel, a few stray passes but generally got stuck in and tried to go forward, obviously Sugulara for Captain Jack got the assist and he kept AA on and he scored as well as bringing on Dibbling, the last 2 subs just bought height on rather than anything else to see the game out, hopefully Everton hitting the bar is the turning point of our season??? Let's see what we serve up next week but I'm enjoying tonight!

Jack assist??
It was Bellis who played Suga in
Stephen’s did his best to sabotage most things
He and Bednarek are somehow and one footed it causes us endless issues

I think I said Suga for Capt Jack was a good substitution and led to the goal, from my seat and IMO Bednarek had a great game, he gave it his all and you could see his relief/joy at the off side decision and final whistle , like for Leciester's 3rd goal when he was so pi**ed off with the team/situation?

What a day! That’s the first time I’ve been in the Northam and I am hoarse. Not sure we deserved all 3 points but we’ll take them. A win makes the trip over that little bit sweeter! 😁
