We love our former U's, well most of them anyway, so thought I'd start a thread where we can keep up with them.
Thought I'd kick things off with a happier moment for Matt Jay in Essex as he scored a long ranger against Chelmsford at the weekend. It wasn't a joyous return though as Torquay shipped two late goals to lose 3-2 after leading 2-0.

Plymouth Argyle have signed Fleetwood Town captain Brendan Wiredu for an undisclosed fee.
Argyle have not disclosed the length of the 25-year-old midfielder's contract at Home Park - he had 12 months left on his deal at the Cod Army.
Wiredu scored seven goals in 123 games for Fleetwood after joining them from Colchester United three years ago.

Southport boss Neil Danns has been given a suspended six-month ban for past breaches of the Football Association's rules on betting.
Former midfielder Danns, 42, has also been fined £1,000 after admitting placing 65 bets on football matches.
He is currently manager of National League North side Southport, but the offences took place between 17 February 2007 and 13 August 2022 when he was a player.
During that time he played for a number of different sides including Birmingham City, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers. | |

Following a disastrous debut for Plymouth Argyle at home to Barnsley, in which Brendan Wiredu scored an own goal, was partly at fault for Barnsley’s second, got booked for a scuffle and was subbed at half time, he has had to shut down his social media accounts following a torrent of abuse from the local six-fingered freaks. So much so, the club has had to issue a statement telling the yokels to pack it in.
