Won promotions in the non league with Salisbury, Bristol Rovers (play offs) and promotions in the league with Bristol Rovers and Port Vale (play offs).

Not a bad shout that. I think Pete Wild was available at the time McNulty was appointed, he would have been ideal but that ships sailed now.

Promoted twice with Salisbury by winning the play offs and play off wins with both Bristol Rovers and Port Vale. There cant be many lower league managers out there with that sort of success and he's available. Jims a nice man but this season is only going 1 way now sorry.

I think it's a good shout and will sell season tickets. We don't have the experience in the Boardroom to make a decisive decision though, they probably wouldn't even know how to contact Clarke. Another lower league club will be pro-active and snap him up. The easiest option is to do nothing and just hope that things will change, we've all been watching football long enough to know that it won't.

The first half against Spennymoor should have confirmed that to everybody associated with the club, especially the Ogden family. If ever we needed to fly out of the blocks and put on a show, it was that game. Everything was set up, beautiful day and a big crowd, a semi final with Wembley the prize, a part time opposition from a lower league, a opportunity to increase attendances and season ticket sales, a opportunity to network in a cup final at Wembley and attract investors and sponsorship. Then the game started and look what McNulty and his team served up in that first half, completely deflated the atmosphere in the stadium, we thought they'd come out all guns blazing, lucky not to be losing at half time. We should have known better, so no, nothings going to change with Jim at the helm and Saturday was proof of that. It was all down to 'fate' according to him. If he wants to analyse minutes in games to justify results then analyse that first 45 minutes Jim, he won't do though because just like the reference to budgets, he's selective.

I'd suggest if we want to get back to being a EFL club we need to start acting like one and that starts in the Boardroom and it involves taking difficult decisions rather than shirking away from them. As business people they should be aware of that anyway.

You understand the situation perfectly TS. I would sack McNumpty immediately and put you in charge. That would be a massive improvement.
How the decision makers cannot see the bleeding obvious is far beyond my comprehension.

I'm busy but do agree there would be an improvement, the players would show some passion and fight for a start. Thanks for the backing anyway. The situation is pretty obvious to most supporters i would suggest. On Saturday, go and speak to supporters in and around the bars, those who sit or stand around you, see what they think. Agree about the decision makers, the last three results are staring them in the face. Of course there are some that support failure and keep quiet, we've seen that before. Nest featherers normally who like to keep well in with those upstairs and never nail their colours to the mast. Creeps.

There’s always Ian Evatt……

My Bolton supporting mate was sick to death of Evatt to the point where he stopped going to games. Reason? Sideways backwards sideways sideways sideways backwards backwards sideways repeat ad finitum. With a much bigger budget than we have.
