I don't recall seeing this posted yet. I realise he's come in for a fair bit if criticism for lack of work rate (rightly so) but credit where it's due, his performances in the last 2 games have been better and it's nice to hear him speak.

I have been his biggest critic but credit where it is due - No doubting his natural talent and with a good pre season and coaching he might just come good yet.
I thought the crowd were great with him too especially when he was substituted. That will do his confidence the world of good.

As I said after the Oxford game, when we are playing well he looks good but when the opposition, then and on Saturday, stepped up he was found wanting. I've seen nothing to suggest long term he's a £3.5m and five year contract player. Of course I hope I am wrong as we can't afford (literally) to blow that sort of cash but start him every remaining game and see what happens.
Wish I could be like David Watts

I think one of the biggest frustrations about Madsen is we all know he can do better and Saturday showed that.
His delivery for the goals against Oxford and Bristol City show that the technical ability is there. It's just frustrating that he lacks the bite and effort required to really impose himself on games. Hopefully he's just adjusting to the rigours of the Championship and this season's experience will help him kick on next.

Watched the highlights back and in fairness he was heavily involved with all the decent things we did . Bristol came to play and not sh**house which suited him . Small steps but he’s consistent from set pieces as well which can’t be said for Ken and Ilias.
