So I only ever go to the C&S before and after games especially if I bring someone. Next Monday my daughter and her boyfriend ( he is South Welsh) and his dad are coming to HQ for the first time and I promised them a pre lunch special from C&S. obviously it’s being refurbed. Damn, 80p at the White Horse is about a 20% increase.
Was really cheap when I went to the Green, but I remember it being eye-wateringly expensive under the old management. Maybe they've gone back to old management? |
They’d reduced the prices to £5.15 in the White Horse this Saturday compared to £5.80 the week before.We went into the Green after the Cardiff game and it was £7.15 for a Guinness. |  | | |

On the subject of not being able to understand decisions regarding pubs, The Defectors didn't have Youngs available on Saturday.
It might be that they didn't have staff available to go to the cellar & change to a new firkin/keg, but that would be poor piss management. A Youngs pub without Youngs beers is beyond my comprehension!
