Our owners are embarrassing.
We have a man who has, in the last two months, ticked all the boxes needed.
He kept us in the championship, he has brought the team and fans together, the players will run through a brick wall for him, the team is top of the form league in the last 6 games and second in the last 10 games.
If that isnt enough i dont know what more he can do and i dont know what the 2 plebs in charge really want from a manager, ateotd one is from Notts Co the other from Brizzle Rovers, both in league 2 ffs 🙄

You'd think Gorringe and Montague would be pulling out all the stops to get Sheehan to sign on the dotted line and tie him down to a lucrative contract here. But maybe they're open (even secretly wanting) a club like WBA to pay them compensation for Sheehan so that they can then get their man from Sweden effectively having a decision they're too scared to make made for them (not offering Sheehan the role). Unbelievable really that they seem so relaxed that they could well lose what's proved to be another one of our best assets for absolute peanuts. | | | |

Less than two months ago lots of people were horrified at the prospect of "Cheap Option" "Watson's Mate" getting even a caretaker role.
The club can't afford to be as changeable as supporters often are. They have to be sure that the decision they make is the right one. I don't blame them for taking their time over it, even if I agree that he's probably the logical choice. |  |

I was one who thought of him as the cheap option but he has proved me and many others wrong. The results he has achieved on the pitch and within the squad are unquestionable.
