Bonkers conspiracy theory involving Man City and us 13:12 - Apr 25 with 3008 viewsR_from_afar

To lighten the current sombre mood a little, here's an absolutely bonkers conspiracy theory, about Man City's first Premier League title, for you to chew on. Bonkers!

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Maybe I could go on the “overlap” with some highlights of the game at their place a month before, refereed by a Bolton fan.

or the 6-1 defeat at Old Trafford by...... Man City.

Fact is Man U fked it up themselves, especially in the last few weeks, no point them trying to look elsewhere.

I was there and no way was it a fix. As said, why not just lose 6-0. We got thumped 6-1 the previous away game and City were even more dominant than Chelsea so had it been a scoreline like that, no one would have blinked an eye.

Going into injury time there was still a lot of confusion about the Stoke v Bolton game as rumours going around Bolton had a last minute penalty (they didn't). Even if the bench knew we were safe, the players didn't. Derry has said this.
IIRC, Cisse was/is good mates with Nasri. I don't think Cisse has any affiliations/connections with City in the same way Barton, SWP & Onuoha did. Cisse was just happy all round.

Even looking at that other clip in the build up, I don't think QPR did anything wrong. The ball kept coming in (as it had done dozens of times in the game) and we cleared it.
Then, and I wonder if anyone ever picks up on this, Ballotelli got the ball and with his ONLY assist of the season, sets up Aguero. As Clough said, it only takes a second to score a goal and that was their 'second'.

Still, makes me laff hearing the moany Man U tw@ts, it's not like they had never won the title before and in fact they had won it the previous & following seasons.

If anyone wants to look at a more likely conspiracy then Bolton fans should be looking at Crouch towards the end of the QPR v Stoke game the week before. I swear when the corner comes in Crouch ducks out of the way and Anton's header goes through for Cisse to score the winner.

But who gives a schit about relegated teams.

edit:
Another thing about the Man U fans is they never look at their own team. They lost at City themselves just a couple of weeks earlier and around the same time they twice threw away a two goal lead at home to Everton (drawing 4-4) and also lost 1-0 at relegation bound Wigan. That's three results where a better result in just ONE of those three and they'd have won the title. But nooooooooo, it's all down to QPR.

Fck 'em.

Agree with all of this, almost! I definitely heard an interview with one of our players, Mackie I think, who said they were told from the bench we were safe due to Bolton result and told others so a potential distraction there. I just like to think we would have held on if we had to!

Wasn't it that the forwards knew we were safe by that point and the defenders didn't? I know personally I still didn't feel 1000% about the other game until they actually showed the Bolton players in tears

Strange that no one has mentioned Barton’s sending off. No one will ever convince me he didn’t get sent off on purpose so his beloved Citeh would win the title. Scum.

Joey Barton has never done anything for anybody other than Joey Barton.
