I’m a catholic, albeit lapsed now, but my family are very much practicing and I didn’t find it offensive in the slightest. I can’t abide most things about the Catholic Church, but Catholics have always had the piss taken out of them and it’s always been funny, Life Of Brian, Father Ted, Monty Python (every sperm is sacred etc). Most Catholics funerals I’ve been to have had an edge of humour to them. | | | |
