The QPR summer transfer rumours thread 19:06 - Apr 29 with 4370 views | Tonto | As they have already started, we need a thread. Suspect most of these will be wrong/clickbait sites, but lets store them in one place. [Post edited 29 Apr 19:47]

Yesterday rumours about Darnell Furlong coming back. Today Dijksteel. That's 2 RBs already. Seems to indicate Dunne will be on his way.

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 20:18 - Apr 29 with 4038 views | Hunterhoop | I’m intrigued what happens on the player recruitment and renewal front now. Surely, if Nourry is to be believe and the Head Coach has input, we can’t sign anyone until the new fella is in and he inputs into the decision? Unless, of course, that is all a lie, and we’re perfectly happy signing and renewing players without anyone on the coaching side having a say. Just the Child King making the decisions with all that experience in the game he’s built up. Fire up the laptop, Belky!

Wow. Must have been amazing in those six games!
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 08:11 - May 4 with 3021 views | derbyhoop | Didnt even make the squad for the recent DS semi-final. He'll be released and nobody at QPR will shed any tears. Quite a few others , from DS, will also go.

As we are wedded to playing 'the QPR way' regardless of who the Head Coach is (note not manager) it shouldn't make any difference. Allegedly.... I do think deals may have been done for players in the EU on free as they can be pre contract signed from January.

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 09:10 - May 4 with 2737 views | Blue_Castello | Not a transfer rumour but Luton are down and some of their players may be up for grabs, not sure of Carlton Morris's contract length but it may be up this Summer, if so I think he's a good shout for the type of player we need up front, or we could just get some completely unknown player from Europe whose never played in the Championship.

Yes, I understand the point about consistency and the manager or head coach not just saying his lads from a previous gig. But I still think it’s pretty important for the a) the bloke who’s going to coach them on the training field, pick the side, and be accountable for results to have input in to who we sign, and b) that someone who has experience of coaching in the game has input. Having Belk and Nourry make the signings solo is a concern, IMO. You could argue Betsy and Calm might be having input re. points b, but until we hire Cifuentes’ replacement, we don’t have a solution for point a.

I agree he'll probably be released, but that's a nasty way to talk about a young bloke presumably facing huge disappointment.
The QPR summer transfer rumours thread on 12:50 - May 4 with 2018 views | DavieQPR | Most managers are appointed mid season nowadays and therefore have no say over transfers. Although it would be nice it's not imperative.

But what is the point of his agent getting an article written claiming the kid is desired by half of Europe…. Either to assuage his client, who is presumably not naive enough to believe it, or to make some fans believe that letting a make up the numbers kid from the EDS go is actually costing the club millions in transfer fees..

Not intended to be nasty but it's a brutal business. About 1% of kids who play in the Academies go on to have EFL or PL careers. If Talla hasn't realised that by the age of 20 he's naive.

We all know that, I thought 'shed no tears' was unnecessary. It came across as a bit vindictive. His agent (presumably) writing and pushing that piece is quite strange though, I have no idea who it's aimed at. Edit - maybe the person the agent is really pushing is himself, showing potential clients his ability to raise the profile of his clients. [Post edited 4 May 15:06]

In the basis of a couple highlights and 12 months of output stats I’d be pleased to poach Alli from Luton. Not that winger is a priority. [Post edited 5 May 17:27]
