I've lost interest until the new season starts with a new team and new manager. We are watching a relegated team in friendlies full of players who won't be here next season. Having said that, I have bought my season ticket, paid my money, so will continue to go. Going to Everton too, because Goodison Park.is a famous old ground. [Post edited 1 May 23:30]

I lost interest in this season the moment we were relegated.
Spoke to a Boscombe fan this week who is as jealous as hell that we are going into the Championship.
Saw a bit of Arsenal v PSG this week, including Arsenal’s disallowed goal, which typified everything that is wrong with football at the highest level.

Sorry but with respect I struggle to understand why a Boscombe fan would want to be in the Championship. Very strange mindset for them to have when they are doing so well this season.
They have beaten Forest, Newcastle, Man United and Man City this season. That would mean far more to me than beating the likes of QPR and Watford.
I think in general the Championship is over romanticised. When your team is succeeding down there it's amazing, as we all felt last season. But when you fail to succeed and linger in midtable its totally dire (PNE, Stoke etc). [Post edited 2 May 11:08]

Yes when the players have given up it makes it difficult to get enthusiastic. What a disastrous season, full of mistakes right through the club, the annoying thing is that no one at the top seems to give a sh**t , if they did they would come out and say something but there’s just complete apathy everywhere, well that’s how it comes across . |  |

It's very likely that next season our strikeforce will consist of Ross Stewart and Cameron Archer, our midfield maestro will be Smallbone, our defensive lynchpin will be Stephens and Bazunu and McCarthy willl take turns in goal, because no other team will be stupid enough to take any of them off our hands. That prospect plus the dross of Championship football, which nowadays isn't much different to League One level, may dampen my enthusiasm somewhat. |  |
