A couple of your favourite games 24/25 21:35 - May 5 with 2129 viewsqpr_1968

if you had to pick out 2 of your favourite games you attended this season live.....
or not lucky enough to attend, but watched on the box, what were they.

for me both night games and away.

my favourite luton away 2-1....love beating these, great come back, and the noise we made was superb.

2nd, oxford away...3-1, not the best ground, but love winning against these for obvious reasons.

Poll: how many games this season....home/away.

Plymouth & Hull away. Within a few days when our hopes became high.

Could have been 2 grim trips in the bleak mid-winter, if the results had gone the other way.

Winning 4-0 against Derby at home was my favourite just because of the scoreline.

Oxford away was the only away game I went to that we won and after that game I felt pretty sure we’d stay up.

The home game against Leeds would’ve been number 1 if we’d managed to hold on to the lead..

Probably the 3-0 against Norwich with them getting so wound up and then it’s close between the 3-1 win over Watford, who it’s always good to beat or the Derby 4-0.

Cardiff away in that away end as Celar chipped the keeper felt like a big moment for the home and awayers. Just when it all felt so lost and bleak.

And, yeh, Frey banging that goal in at Luton about 5 feet away from my face was quite nice.

Preston away has to be up there, especially for that injury time winner from Jesus on Good Friday.I’m torn between Norwich or Watford at home. Both wins, but under different circumstances.
Getting picked up at 7.30 on New Year’s Day by loftboy after only a couple of hours sleep probably swings it for me because of the effort to get there, but it’s a long time since I’ve been as cold and wet as I was that day.
The Norwich game was special too though because of the way they imploded, but as I can only pick two it has to be Preston and Watford.
Did you ever find an owner for those keys Clive,or are you still trying them in every door in London?

Cardiff away because it finally looked like we were capable of at least enough resistance to nick a game.

And the following game at Watford, the first time it looked like we might actually be able to play better than the opposition.

Actually, thinking about it, that first four months was embarrassing.

Luton away was one of the best atmospheres I have been in for many a year, so loved that of course.

Then, erm, not a huge amount of choice - would have to be the Norwich home game I guess.

Let's hope there are more to choose from next year....

Norwich 3-0 at home. Never seen a team collectively lose it that much for no apparent reason. Very funny. And Kolli scored his first for the club.

Blackburn 2-1 at home. They were flying. Morgan at 10. I still think our best performance of the season.

Luton, Luton and Luton but mainly the one with Jimmy’s three fingered salute though.

Ok, any 2 of the 3 that helped to relegate them.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Sheff U away, for the way we turned it round after being mullered in the first half, for the excitement Dembele and Saito brought to the table, for equalising when the sending off looked like it had finally put paid to our stirring second half comeback, for Lyndon signing off with such an uncharacteristically classy strike...all against promotion favourites whom we'd gifted a two goal lead...and while the sun was still shining and hope was still high.

Luton away for all the reasons others have said...again early enough for the hope to still be high; and before we realised Luton were a bit $hit.

I sadly don't watch many matches any more, we lost 7-2 in my live appearances, so going to pick

Derby 4-0 - it's not often I get to be relaxed in the second half, although we could have had 7 if we had continued at tempo

Bristol City 1-1 - I remember so many matches where we have been robbed over the years, they should really make a film about this perfect heist :-)

Really enjoyed Oxford away, good performance and a last minute goal to seal a deserved win and our Championship survival.

Plymouth away was great, the team played pretty well, seemed a fun positive crowd all day and plenty of laughs (and beers) on the delayed train.

Special mention to S.Wed away, dreadful performance, didn’t deserve a thing but got a point that felt like a win just as Barry B had just scored what we all felt certain was their winner!

I enjoyed Leeds at home. It was pretty funny singing 'it's happening again' when we were 2-0 up by half-time. We'd had a decent run in Jan/Feb at home and it seemed promising then.

My favourite match all season was Oxford away. For some reason it was a really positive atmosphere in the crowd and some great singing. Winning such a vital game was so important. The last time I'd been there we'd been thrashed 5-0 so scoring three goals was just brilliant!

Not much choice for me, Derby 4-0, my first an only ever QPR home game.

An easy choice for me, the dreadful 0-0 home draw with Cardiff!

Obviously, my choice has nothing to do with the game, but the pre match drink with nadera78 was my highlight of the season!

Footballing wise it has to be the win against Norwich, but I also enjoyed the superb defensive performance we gave at Burnley.

Only made one game this season, the home draw with Plymouth. Cracking game and a cracking day.

Hoping to make more games next season.

Yeah I enjoyed the Leeds home game even if we didn't win - was just a really good game of football.

I'd have enjoyed Oxford away even more had I not had to leave early.

Preston home was good fun too, last minute winner, we were sat down the front of the Lower Loft. Youngest got a pic with Kolli as well at the end.

As consolation if you were parked in that blooming bowling hall car park it took us an hour to get out! So compensations for leaving early.

I'd love to have been at Preston. We were jumping up and down at home!

Only able to attend 2 due to distance, Derby away and Watford away. 2 goals conceded, none scored. I'll let people know when I'm back next season, so you can avoid.

The Luton Frey game still my favourite watch though along with Cardiff for the sheer relief when Celar scored the second'

Norwich 3-0 because I had to watch it on my phone being an unsociable twt at a kids birthday party, so it was nice to be justified by watching them lose their heads as we beat them comfortably.

Luton 2-1 as others have said.

Honourable mention for the Bristol City game since I was able to go to that one and while it was rubbish most of the way through that Smyth goal was unbelievable.
