Yep, he came to us wanting game time and got it. We wanted a player to give us a boost, and we got it. Very good loan spell that suited both parties. Valencia for all their chest thumping are counting the pennies, their owner Abdulla Azmeen has declared the club sustainable, but there’s a lot more to it, they are funded mostly by Peter Lim. But there’s a lot salary structure is eye watering.,
Lewis O’Brien wouldn’t break the bank though by a long way. Max Aarons has been on loan from Bournemouth since January. He hasn’t pulled up trees and his wage is 25k a week. He’s made just two appearances. For me Valencia have more than enough money to make Lewis think about learning a bit more Spanish.
