Well that feels like a bloody good idea.

I’ve no affinity to Everton, but Goodison is an iconic ground and what better use than to promote the women’s game.

Made my feel happier about the World anyway 🤗

It certainly is a good idea to keep it as it was.At least fans will still be able to visit a great old stadium in the future, and if crowds grow for their women’s team it’s definitely a win win.

It's brilliant thinking by the financiers taking it over. Preserves the heritage and stadium for the fans and gives the women an excellent and historical setting to play regularly in.

Never knowingly right.

I presume they’re keeping it to sell it to themselves at some point as a FFP work around.

Nice gesture but 2k average attendances probably won’t cover the maintenance to stop it becoming dilapidated so i guess it’ll come from the club in general.

With the bad stories around the lack of funding at Blackburn for their women's teams and the shoddy way that Wolves treated their players, its nice to hear some positives. A dedicated ground for the women's team is huge and the iconic venue means people will certainly go along to games. Good for them

Give it 3 years and it will be a block of flats.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Great old ground, wooden seats as I remember, church In the corner of the ground, football ground In the heart of the community as It should be, similar to Villa park.

I used to love away days..............................

Time moves on I guess.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.
