Which is his right. The Swans hierarchy will know what's going on, how likely/unlikely he is to sign the contract that has been offered and will be planning their own transfer business accordingly.

Instead of acting like a prima donna this time last year Coleman should have got the job done. He is the one to blame not Darling.

Many respected poster on here do not agree with the cub playing hardball. Playing soft ball worked with Cabango but not Darling. Apparently both "felt disrespected " earlier in the season. I suggested ultimatums were 12 months late and told i was "clueless". "Here here" chanted another. A Ukrainian guy from Plymouth is seen as an alternative from Wrexham and Birmingham. If the recruitment is sound he can be replaced especially on the money he was on.

There is a massive difference between being firm and being totally disrespectful to employees. Coleman was incompetent and was removed. The club is in far better hands now at board level and senior management. You were praising the virtues of the previous owners and Coleman, totally misplaced judgment they were just not up to the job.

In the last few months it has been shown that coleman was a buffoon and way way out of his depth. I have never been so confident in us doing well for many years, totally different to the way I felt when the charlatan was taking us down in January.

No it has not. I believe he left perhaps because performance were poor and the finacial accounts even worse. The club lost £17m to July 23 and £15m to July 24. He may have made a family decision. This a gives next season no room to manoeuvre with FFP rules. Darling has cost the club £2.5m in wages and a notional knock down selling price fee. Watson, Duff and Williams were all fired. Swansea finished close to top ten.

Swansea City : A whole host of players to leave this week ? on 22:13 - May 15 with 1258 views | Dr_Winston | It's not a new situation. Huw Jenkins used to love letting players get into the last year of their contracts without bothering to try and extend. We got promoted to the Premier League and immediately lost both DeVries and Pratley as a result. Any player that a team wants to keep should be negotiated with from at least eighteen months out of contract expiry. If nothing has been agreed by the twelve month stage then the for sale signs should be up.

You can't understand what is incomprehensible. I thought it was agreed that Coleman left because he wasn't up to the job. All the right things were said but he didn't leave so much as he was ousted. He wanted to do a good job, he was a nice bloke but he just wasn't up to it which, as the last few months has evidenced, looks to be 100% accurate. Now we have people in charge who are more competent. Just how competent we will find out. It turns out that your support for Kaplan and Levein was also misplaced and at some point they realised they were out of their depth too. It's ok to be wrong, I am often wrong, the trick is in realising when you are and stopping digging.

Too many assumptions are being made. The new signings look pe promising but no one on the this board as even. seen them play. The new owners are welcome but have a lot to prove. They are welcomed because they gave not made any mistakes. of Wiedel and Inoussou have been burden with huge expectation. They have to be given time. They are not experience like OBrien. I was shocked that he only reduced the weekly deficit for £326k a week to £288k a week while letting Darling play ducks and drakes. Fans like " out of his depth" talk. They never apply it to their own holding leadership. The US people brought in big investments by it British managers have not delivered.

The trust were not making decisions. Coleman was and was completely out of his depth, even to the point of falsely stating that he started months after he actually did. His transfer windows were pathetic. He failed to reduce the debt. Hence why when the new ownership came in they shipped him out.

Cravatt was not a fan of either Williams or Coleman’s dallying. Luke got that bit right.
