i may be in a minority but i am galled that the team from north of brighton won the FA cup. it continues to drive home how far behind QPR are getting from the likes of Bees, Palarse and Foolham.
LOndon clubs in 2 euro finals and 3 in play offs as well. good for us as a city , no london club went down.
most probably were watching EZE yesterday hoping we soon get a chunk of money from any sale , he is a nice lad, top player and improving constantly. good luck to him.

Personally I don't think like that. I was delighted it wasn't one of the usual suspects: Man Utd/City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs. Other clubs winning gives more hope to clubs like ours.
I don't dwell on other London clubs doing better than us either. That tends to lead to the impatient purchase of Sandro type players rather than patiently investing in youth - that's the only way I see us getting anywhere. Look forward not backwards. |  | | |

I remember watching Brentford play Chesterfield or some such 12 years ago and I think they had about 5,000 fans in Griffin Park. I bet no one in that stadium predicted them being on the brink of Europe today.

Have to say I agree with the post. Usually I'm always rooting for the underdog and of course it's great to see City finish with nowt and for Eze to score the winner. But I've always taken comfort in that Palace had won naff all in their history. It irks me that they've put that to rights and drawn level with us.
That said, you'd have to be a soulless piece of work not to enjoy their fans' post-match celebrations. Seeing how much it meant to people of all ages really brought home what football's all about. I don't know why but never really had any love/liking of Palace but I have to say well done them. I don't begrudge them that win. As others have said, it's one in the eye for 115 City, one in the eye for all the grotesque 'big' clubs and shows if you take it seriously, you better your chance of winning it.
IMO, Henderson should have been booked and a free kick to City when he handled outside the box but fk 'em, City and their like have had so many things go their way it was great that VAR couldn't even sort it out and why on earth didn't Haarland take the penalty?! Guffaw!!
