Not the first time that sides have dodged EFL sanctions because they went up despite breaking financial fair play rules and the EFL didn't have the authority to punish a Premier League side.
They thought they were clever when they argued that loophole last time, the Premier League and EFL closed that loophole after that and I hope they get their just desserts.
I honestly feel that none of the three sides coming down are head and shoulders above the rest of the Championship next season. Especially if Leicester get slapped with a 10-15pt deduction then I don't see them being so much better than the rest that they can still clinch automatic promotion. | | | |
