Has 33 been clarified as the amount required? Worth reiterating what has already been said: the Trust can announce a meeting before any need to having to arrange an EGM. There can only be positives from listening to and addressing supporters concerns.

They of course have an elected committee for the running of the Trust on a day to day basis. However on such a massive issue this time in my opinion they have been to show a massive democratic failure in not doing a proper members' consultation. This could still be done by organising an all members meeting to outline the Trust committee's viewpoint and invite members views on the way forward and rolle of the Trust member of the BOD. I would much rather the Trust do the right thing in calling for such a meeting than members being forced to call a special meeting. Here's hoping that the right decision is made. On this subject it’s no different and, in the longer term, may be just as important. Even if you can’t attend a meeting or may agree with recent developments, any support towards achieving clarity is beneficial to the Trust, the fanbase and the club itself.

This can't be emphasised enough The calling for a meeting isn't about "taking the Trust to task". It can be understood that the Trust board are doing lots of really useful things and on an entirely voluntary basis. Also, that there may have been no reason to think that anything might change. What's become clear is that some members feel things might be done a little differently, to the ultimate benefit of Dale both now and in the future. This could include taking some of the pressure off the Trust board rep to the main board; not sure if this has been acknowledged as possibly asking too much of one individual as it stands, and therefore excluding possible candidates It should be recognised that a discussion needs to take place, and it's not clear why anyone would think this isn't a healthy approach. Far better then, to seek clarity than let anything drift. If you believe that to be healthy too, put your name down and join the discussion. It'll be amongst friends [Post edited 30 May 18:30]

It’s all to easy to say I won’t bother with the trust, but the passed has shown us it’s important and engagement is a good thing. Another 5 names and the threshold would be hit. Please put your name forward if you haven’t already

It'd be great if it could be, and *if* it happens, but as yet uncertain

Then that looks to be the threshold met. Hopefully the Trust will now call a meeting without requiring the formalities of an EGM having to be arranged. If not, please could it be confirmed are we sending full details of names for the next stage to Wozz/someone else?

It can be confirmed, but i'm currently away from home staying with friends prior to flying out to Spain on Tuesday We have the usernames listed in the OP We have anons notified in this thread and in addition, there's anons who've PM'd me *** Can those anons please either forward their names to me or to some other designated person. They won't be published on here but will be forwarded to whoever takes this forward with the Trust. I won't be in a position to do so due to circumstances, as above ***

Add your name to the list in support of a Trust EGM regarding main board rep on 21:39 - Jun 1 with 1989 views | D_Alien | Update: we have the numbers. The Trust have an opportunity to arrange a meeting without a formal request, and we await the outcome It can be seen there's nothing confrontational here, just hoping for greater clarity for the benefit of Rochdale AFC and its fans. That's you and me. Let's all be part of the future of Dale; after all, that's all we've ever wanted and now we have the opportunity, once the roles of CAB and the Trust are clarified [Post edited 1 Jun 21:40]

Add your name to the list in support of a Trust EGM regarding main board rep on 14:40 - Jun 5 with 1055 views | wozzrafc | To update those on here who have been in contact. Today, the application for a special meeting of the Trust was emailed to the Trust board. This letter has been supported by 3 founder members, 4 ex Chairs and a number of former Trust board members. Although we understand that the Trust Model Rules require the request to be sent as a hard copy to Holyoake House, Hanover St., Manchester, we hope that common sense prevails and an electronic application is accepted, particularly given that the rules have not been revisited since 2018. Emphasis has been placed on the non-confrontational approach from this group. We now hope to hear from the Trust, giving at least 14 clear days notice of the meeting date, that meeting date being no later than 12th July. We have also asked for the nomination process be paused while the meeting takes place.
