Unfortunately populism is always popular(curated as a tool by those who want power) amongst the disenfranchised, the left behind. Those with no voice will support anyone who appears to give them a say if the circumstances are right.

as do the left, with Reeves stuttering before her expected fall from grace ,Raynor in the wings looking for her moment with the backing of the Unions, all political party's have internal unrest ,some more than others .

As they say in Scotland, never trust a Tory.
They realise that Reform are Tories in disguise.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Reform had 26% of the vote which is decent enough. The disappointing point is the 44% turnout showing that the public really have had enough of mainstream politics. Labour won with 31% of the vote of a 44% turnout. Effectively about 14% of those who could vote voted Labour. Let that sink in, everyone has had enough of the crap politics we have to put up with.

I'm hoping that Reform remains in reasonable shape until at least the Senedd election, because I think a shock is needed to get the established parties back on a saner course, and Reform looks like the only game in town at present. Please don't mention Plaid, which seems to want to out-do the Lib-Dems and Greens in the wokeness stakes.

I've said it for years, the British political landscape needs a complete makeover, I never know who to vote far because that are ALL full of their own self interest, they've no passion for the job of a politician its all about power, I've no time for any of them, I don't listen to any of the lying snakes.

I can honestly say that I cannot remember the last time I voted.

I hope Remain go back to England and campaign in a country that they actually care about.

As English nationalists, i would hope that nobody in Wales would vote for them.

For Wales, see Clacton.

Labour AND Tory have been busy self destructing, this is a blip for Reform but after 14 years of toryism in the Uk and over 20 years of Welsh Labour in Wales, who here can say any of them are worth voting for? Add in Starmers hardly glorious start too.

I mean, Drakeford....

Anybody who really is going to vote for Farage should have a good hard think. If it's a protest vote they want then choose local independent candidtaes and fill the Senedd with non affiliated local people who actually care about their area.

All Wales is to Farage is a means to an end.

And have more of the same via coalitions in Wales? No thank you. I’ve had enough.

The Independent is carrying a report that some of the councils Reform won a few weeks ago are in “paralysis” with high rates of meeting cancellations, councillors not turning up and mandatory legally required meetings not going ahead. I’m pretty sure the Independent will have cherry picked the stats, but it’s not exactly a promising start for Reform.

They’ll have taken any flags they don’t like down, I bet.

Started there DOGE stuff too. Which will being interesting to see as council budgets are now 80% adult social care and children’s services.

Exactly my feelings, it would be letting Labour back in through the back door, just what they are planning.

To be honest, finding out how much is spent on taxi's ferrying children to schools really shocked me. It's no wonder there is no money.

Then somebody posted on here about a familky that get a disability car because of their kid and the kid still gets the free taxi to school.

It can't be sustainable.

I'll keep on saying ot though, think long and hard before voting Reform.

I'll just throw this little fact in for you.

The Motability Scheme has over 633,000 cars on the road at any given time.

Truly staggering and we all know who's paying.

I've mentioned this before but take a look at this:-

https://basw.co.uk/about-social-work/psw-magazine/articles/reform-councillors-ag

I would be very worried if I worked in social services or received help from them in Leicestershire.

Reform will be a disaster. They can say what they want, they can't afford to implement it and when they try those actually doing it will be incompetent.
