So Loft boy has told me off because I started a thread on Brian. So if this is the official post about Brian Wilson then let me just say that he was amazing and just reproduced the sounds in his head….God only knows what I’d be without QPR….,

"a diseased bunch of mofos if there ever was one, their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons."

Very sad news. Saw him a few times over the years unfortunately he really wasn’t with it and just really fronted the band whilst sat behind the piano, really good though. RIP
He made a really interesting and eccentric album with Van Dyke Parkes called Orange crate Art. Wonderful harmonies as you would expect and clever lyrics from Parkes.
I echo all that's been said here about Brian Wilson. I have a wonderful memory of playing spin the bottle as a young teenager while we listened to Good Vibrations on repeat! Brian Wilson was the sound of the summer of our lives.
