Soccer in the US on 15:51 - Jun 15 by CLAREMAN1995 | Normally you are a good poster but this one is not acurate you should educate yourself on the immigration situation before posting please . ICE is deporting "foreign looking" people because they are in the country illegally and most have deportation orders against them. This includes all kinds of crimes some horrible and some that warrant removal immediatly. The others are simply caught up in the sweeps but have no paperwork so they are removed Where was the due process when they crossed the border illegally and where was the outcry when women and children were raped ,murdered or taken for sex rings during the caravans north to the US border The riots and looting are just scum taking advantage of the protests who are being paid and supplied to cause chaos and thats whats being covered. Anybody coming to the US for the WC has to have documents (like entry to every country in the planet )and will not only be safe but have an excellent time and get a free suntan. The transport system is pretty bad as mentioned above because everybody drives and the Stadiums are located accordingly . |
The person claiming that these people are are violent criminals threatening America is the same person who claimed Ohioans were eating dogs and Mexico would be paying for the border wall. He is an inveterate liar being operated by Miller, Hegseth, Noem, Bondi and others in the Heritage Foundation etc. Project 2025 is too long a document to absorb as is but look online for good critical analysis of it and you will see that its purpose is to remove democracy as it stands and move towards a right wing quasi nepotism. I have a lot of family and a good number of friends living in various states and they are all very concerned about what is happening right now. The numbers that turned up in the No King's peaceful protests demonstrate that the fear and trepidation is palpable for many citizens not just illegals.

Soccer in the US on 17:17 - Jun 15 by Boston | There are over one million people (possibly much more as I've not seen any recent government reports), who went through the 'Due Process' of a court hearing with legal representation (paid for by the American Taxpayer), that were given deportation notices and have ignored that judgement and remained in the United States. Just a word to the foot soldiers for the establishment who support people that undermine the working class of a country...your servants are pissed off. [Post edited 15 Jun 17:18]

You are living here like myself Boston and see the other side not protrayed by the media around the World regardless of who supports Trump but he was elected so its case closed . If I was in Australia or any country on the globe and had a deportation order issued by the courts after I fought it I would be sent packing immediatly and everybody knows it . I clearly stated these ICE sweeps encounter people other than the wanted felons who have no legal status in the US so they are ticketed to go back home .Thats the major issue we are seeing are they not getting due process but to enter the US illegally and regardless of your work situation ,family is a crime in the eyes of the law and they are being removed.People are being advised and paid to self deport then re apply to come back but not too many appear to be taking that option Anybody who has the money ,time and paperwork to visit the US to follow their Country in the WC will be safe and have a great time IMO .Thats the point of this thread .

Me and my friends won’t be attending that one. Kim Yong Un’s concept of human rights and despotic control of his people doesn’t sit well with us at all. I can only see us having a change of heart if the supreme leader gets his army to adopt a more passive approach to marching.

Soccer in the US on 05:41 - Jun 14 by stowmarketrange | I don’t see why the USA and Mexico have been given another World Cup while we still haven’t had one for 60 years. We’ve already got most of the stadiums already built. |
The FA aren't in the habit of bribin.... er, making generous donations to Infantino's favourite charities, that's why. While more generally, FIFA and the rest of the Confederations hate/fear/envy UEFA, so will do everything they can to keep Europe in its place - see eg the overblown Club World Cup, where FIFA are now intruding into club football, to counter the growth/popularity/revenue UEFA gets from the CL.

Soccer in the US on 21:43 - Jun 14 by Match82 | The point about stadiums being out in the middle of nowhere is a fair one - most of the ones that ARE downtown are even worse because there's limited decent public transport options so 70,000 people are trying to drive down the same street at the same time 30 minutes before the game starts |
Having been to a couple of stadia in USA, I'm sure all of that is very true. But imo that alone isn't likely to put anyone off, for even if overseas fans are aware of it in advance (not all will be), in the end, if you're considering spending bundles and travelling thousands of miles to see your NT in the USA in the first place, a few hours inconvenience on 3 or 4 matchdays during your two or three week trip/holiday is unlikely to be a deal breaker.

Soccer in the US on 10:12 - Jun 15 by Juzzie | America is a country that has predominantly evolved from Europeans, South Americans and Africans, none of which have this unbelievable sense of nauseating hyperbole and all the other appalling behaviour we’ve come to see, so just where the hell did it come from? I despise Trump and his mob, but I've been to sh1thole countries run by far worse than Trump to watch football before, so that alone wouldn't deter me. Besides which, ordinary Americans are fine, as I've found on my many visits to USA. Though at the risk of being charged with double standards , I would admit there are some countries I'd still not visit, incl Saudi Arabia 2034. But even there, that is as much a protest about the way that State is "buying" football for its own selfish sportswashing strategy, as it is for its (utterly vile) politics. And the want of a beer after the game | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Excellent article thanks for posting its only June and you have that savage heat (its Cali of course ) but you will get worse in NY or Kansas City in July/August with the same stupid restrictions. Taking water off people at the gates and forcing them to pay double inside if you can get it should be illegal IMO. Also they empty the seats if there is an eletrical storm (lightining in the area)and that forces everybody inside to wait it out which results in brutal overcrowding and good luck getting food or drink then plus its cashless in most places . But its the WC and England are gaurnteed to be there ( hoping and praying hard ROI and a couple more of the home countries ) so its will be fun . Save up grab the tickets and get over here you will be fine
Soccer in the US on 15:26 - Jun 17 with 465 views | DavieQPR | Most countries don’t want it. That’s why the two competing countries were awarded one each. FIFA make a lot of money but countries make big losses.
