It’s looking very positive at the moment….no doubt more surprises to come in July. It’s like we have suddenly become a professional football club guided by people who actually know a bit about football.

It’s got to the point where no promises are even made just delivery after delivery! It showed at the end of last season that we had a side capable of the top 6 under the right manager. This same manager has now got some serious talent on top of that to work with. No need to temper expectations just revel in the positivity. Can’t wait to get out to Spain to see them now.

And nobody as negative as me but it's encouraging Up front is where it's key we have two useless strikers , one local lovely lad and VIP on the books with a young prospect coming in We need a real striker of experience But they're getting them in early so that's good

If we get o'brien back we will be ok in midfield, we need cover at full back and desperately need at least one decent striker.
We aren't far off a squad that will be there or thereabouts, keef says we still have 4 more to come in, let's hope those are players who positions are what I've mentioned above 🤞

There's rarely much positivity close season because we've got altogether too many moaners who prefer to whinge about stuff rather than wait and see what happens.
The fact that they're getting excited now might not mean much. Hopefully it does, but I'll keep doing what I do every season. Wait until we've played ten games before coming to any conclusions.

A lot, for me, depends on Sheehan and whether we keep seeing the good stuff we saw from him last season.
For all the doom and gloom, in the seven full seasons that we've played since being relegated, we've made the playoffs twice, had a squad that could have challenged if not managed by a muppet between 2021/2023, and even last year a lot of people were wondering what could have happened if we'd ditched Williams earlier. We've never really been a million miles away in terms of squad ability from a top six finish. We just haven't had all the pieces pulling in the same direction.
Perhaps that's the bit that feels the most different this year. There does seem to be a renewed sense of purpose and direction about the place, and I'm all for it, but I'd like to see it all in action first.
