My sons team u12’s reached the national finals this season after winning the southern league title, they played Man city u14’s girls in the group stage and drew 1-1 should have beaten them . They were twice as big but I’m afraid they just aren’t as good as boys. |  |

I have no objection to women's football, and it is good that young girls have an opportunity to play and a clear pathway to the professional level.
However, it is not for me and I would never pay or travel to watch a women's game. There is still a massive quality gap. [Post edited 26 Jun 6:36]
