Anyone going to the Human League tonight? on 18:01 - Jun 26 with 1048 views | 1885_SFC | I wish I could make it. Terrific band back in the day. I wouldn't have minded seeing Train ('Drops of Jupiter') on Saturday either, but alas, I am crocked at the moment and going nowhere. Have a good night. I am envious.

As in, is it all standing outside I assume or is it in Southampton guildhall? Do you just stand anywhere and get a good view of the stage with food and drink? [Post edited 26 Jun 18:28]

Phil Oakey still has a great voice for a 70 year-old. You will enjoy. But for my sins am at Wembley tonight with my missus seeing Guns n’Roses…. [Post edited 26 Jun 18:29]

I was down there today to get a recce of the set up for tomorrow (Ocean Colour Scene, Cast, Echobelly). It looks like the bars inside are open with food outside and the gigs outside with the stage backing onto above bar by Scholars. It looks a decent set up.

That's as it was last year for The Killers, who were excellent by the way!

Human league sounded excellent. Susan Ann Sulley is still a thing of beauty. However they wrapped up at 10 o clock and only played 12 songs (including an Oncor.) Felt a bit short changed tbh. They were backed up by Blancmange who i thought why are they still going and The Thompson Twins. Only 1 member left of their original band, the others replaced by Robert Palmer esque addicted to love woman!

Guns’n’Roses were on for 3 and a quarter hours and played what felt like 83 songs. Bizarre old evening at Wembley. They came on stage at 7pm with the stadium less than half-full. Very odd indeed. We had a tip-off they would be on early, but most seemed to be caught unawares.
