The boys from down under... on 01:40 - Jun 28 with 1150 views | KewPier | The A League has improved, to the point where it is now seen as a legitimate league to recruit young players from, and not just for English clubs. Big difference from playing 26 games in 6 months to the grind of the Championship, tho.
The boys from down under... on 06:19 - Jun 28 with 1015 views | enfieldargh | going to be fun when the Aussies have international duty. At least they can fly on group rates

Agree 100%. Scandalous that they have been overlooked for Mickey mouse countries such as Qatar and Saudi. Great sporting country, fantastic stadiums, it would be a quality world cup and I would definitely go.

This is always my concern with these signings too. Coupled with the fact that the championship schedule is brutal, having to deal with long haul flights, with little or no time to recover its always going to be pretty demanding.

Unfortunately the Australian and NZ governments aren't quite corrupt enough to fund the millions in bribes and kickbacks required to win a world cup bid nowadays.
