Signs, midfielder, two-year deal. 5'10".

Miami born, came through at Salford and was on loan at Alty and Gateshead last year

Caught my eye in the Tuesday night game at home to Gateshead.
Came across as an all action player scampering around.
Don’t think he’s one for passing backwards slowly but if those are the instructions…..

Interesting. Don’t know the lad but Physically he’s nearly 5 10” and has a strong looking neck. I may be clutching a straws but hoping he can be a real physical presence in midfield. Gilmour is very competitive but can sometimes be dispossessed purely by strength. I’ll take another midfielder of course but they need to be different to East, Barlow and Gilmour.
Hoping this lad provides that. Like that he has had a little EFL experience and played for two top 10 teams in the National league.
Happy.

I know now't about him, so I will wait to the season starts to see how he plays.

I see Hogan as signed a new contract, which worries me,in that we have two players in the mid-30's at the heart of the defence, which at times last season was ponderous to say the least.

EEL is only 32. Surprised re Hogan, it's suddenly quite a crowded defensive picture with the new signings as well. Makes you think there may be something in the rumour that Beckwith could be on his way.

McNulty said in his interval that he wanted that had depth, unlike last season. Hopefully Beckwith will be at the Dale this season, strangely the defensive signings have been on the right, not the left. Does Mcnulty see this area as a weakness and is Moss cover for Gordon, in the same way Armstrong is cover for Beckwith.

If you look at our defensive record it was good but when faced with quality forwards and physicality they were often cruelly exposed. A stand out moment was Findops header at the COA against Oldham. All we had to do was stop him from scoring and we would have probably won the game, instead he bullied our defenders on his own and was left completely unmarked for his free header. That whipped in cross to the back post was a problem all season
