...last night.
First time since they upgraded the stadium and some surrounding businesses and I liked what I saw, especially in the stadium where those big 'wind tunnel' gaps, especially over the home end, have been closed in with massive tv screens. Nice evening out, few pints o' porter in The Harp before and after and an interesting last 30 mins of an otherwise disappointing football match, New England coming from three down to draw in the 93rd minute. Impressed with Carles Gil for the Revs, the most Barry Bannan type player I've ever seen, the man oozes class, bossed the midfield but let down time and time again by one-dimensional players occupying other places on his squad, though after match thoughts have me thinking the manager / head coach was probably part of the problem as the defence were woefully badly organized.
For Colorado, the name that caught my eye was Reggie Cannon, I have to report that even at this level, he is no more than a lightweight.
The stadium / area upgrades referred to above, result from a FIFA directive once the venue was selected as a World Cup venue, if anyone's visiting from parts abroad, I think you'll enjoy the match day experience.

As a Cowboys fan. I always hoped that we would play the Pats at Foxborough in the fall so it would be a nice trip for Mrs Tonto amd not just an NFL trip. The kne year ot happened we w couldn't make it...

Always thought the original design was a bIt weird. Was there a reason for it? Just looked like a.misses opportunity for more seats to me.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

You pretty much have to wait every 8 years. But since they added the 17th game, it could be a possibility that it’s sooner. The scheduling for the 17th game is so complicated.

The original design was conceived by Bob Kraft,he didn't want another ticky tacky bowl, which he considered to be lacking in character. But, until you' were in the 'home end', section 143, otherwise known as The Fort, it was always open, windy, effing uncomfortable (I had ST's in there for years), once you came up to go to the bars / bogs / food etc. Not so open anymore.
