Top 3 Saints players who fans wrote off but ended up being half-decent elsewhere 21:27 - Jul 1 with 1369 views | PatfromPoole | This week’s departures of some of our more “erratic” players made me think of this…… 1. Ricardo Fuller 2. Fraser Forster 3. Alan McLoughlin

Top 3 Saints players who fans wrote off but ended up being half-decent elsewhere on 21:34 - Jul 1 with 1336 views | Saintcole7 | We never played Alan McLoughlin in his correct position if memory serves me correctly and I remember a rumour at the time that we would owe add ons if he played more games so we sadly got rid way too early?
Top 3 Saints players who fans wrote off but ended up being half-decent elsewhere on 21:36 - Jul 1 with 1330 views | Saintcole7 | Kevin Danso seems to be the most recent "flop" due to Ralph playing him out of position!

Top 3 Saints players who fans wrote off but ended up being half-decent elsewhere on 09:19 - Jul 2 with 1006 views | Ifonly | Tall Paul might already be in this list. He was written off by Saints fans at the end of the 22-23 season. The next season he scored 17 in 25 appearances in Turkey. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes on to qualify a second time. Does Andrew Surman qualify? Not universally admired at Saints but did pretty well elsewhere.
Top 3 Saints players who fans wrote off but ended up being half-decent elsewhere on 09:47 - Jul 2 with 962 views | Buggalugs | 1. Dusan Tadic - show pony, rarely delivers 2. Sadio Mane - always offside, falls over all the time 3. Oriol Romeu - little quality, too weak All 3 regularly slagged off early in their Saints careers by some of our mongy fans , including a few regulars on here. Tadic especially got caned by loads during most of his time with us, then shortly after he left the same divs were saying he's exactly the type of player we needed.

Top 3 Saints players who fans wrote off but ended up being half-decent elsewhere on 13:23 - Jul 2 with 765 views | felly1 | Fuller would have been my top choice. Here's a few others. 1. Harrison Reed. Deemed not good enough and fans were happy to see loaned off to Norwich/ Blackburn in an admittedly strong period of decent midfielders at the club. Had some excellent seasons at Fulham. 2. Jason Puncheon. Seemed to fall in and out of love with the club . Went on to play 150 games mainly top level for Palace. Good player. 3. Chris Baird. Another one who went to Fulham and excelled.
Top 3 Saints players who fans wrote off but ended up being half-decent elsewhere on 13:26 - Jul 2 with 755 views | franniesTache | Seems to be mostly forgotten about now but i can definitely remember some Saints fans not being overly enamoured with both Le Tiss and Shearer early on. In fact a good mate of mine might've even said that selling Shearer was a good thing because he was over rated...

I can remember being at Coventry away late 80s . We threw away a 1 nil lead and lost 2-1 . Shearer got a load of stick and he came over and gave it back to us! Never thought he'd turn into the Prem legend he became.
