I had the same thought yesterday but then I looked them both up.
The only thing they’ve got in common these days is the P&O bit.
I don’t like the sound of P&O Ferries’ approach to workers’ rights but we can’t blame P&O Cruises for that. |  |

We had all this when P&O Ferries laid off all their staff a couple of years back... 2 totally different company. Cruises owned by the British and Americans, and Ferries owned by the Saudis.
I would think it would be of benefit to Carnival if they dropped the P&O name from their cruises as the confusion keeps on happening. I think they run their US operations as Carnival Cruises so why not use that for the UK too... |  |
