Training Ground Bond trouble 19:39 - Jul 6 with 3123 views | jonath1 | I bought a couple of the Bonds from Tifosy that invested in the new training ground. Not really for the profit or perks which are not huge, but just to play a part in the future of the club. Something about doing that completely mucked up my QPR club online account. A new account got created and in the process lost all my loyalty points, and I have ended up with a split online personality ever since, so I haven't been able to buy tickets or anything from the shop, as myself. The QPR cash that I earn from the bond gets allocated to an account. I can see it. But I can't use it. It's not a vast amount, but it is irritating that I can't do anything online. The box office team have been helpful up to a point. They gave me (grudgingly and after I had given evidence of over 40 years of QPR support) the same loyalty points as my wife (a lot less than I had, but probably enough to get a seat at another playoff final , or heaven help us, a later round cup game, which is what I was most worried about (I am an optimist). Having failed to redeem my QPR cash yet again I am finally asking on here...has anyone else had similar issues? It has taken up a lot of my time and I do regret buying the Bonds which is a shame. I can't help but think that this has been caused by there being effectively three accounts that need to link together: club account, ticket account, and shop account. I think the problem is that I have two of each, but they don't line up correctly. I have spent many hours on the line to the box office trying to sort it out, to no effect. Anyone else in a similar position? I don't want to get shitty with them, but it is really frustrating. Anyone know who at the club might really be able to sort it out? It's been years now!

I get the feeling of belonging/contributing but we do that via ticket purchases etc. I missed out on the original floatation many years ago by a day and glad that happened as they became worthless. So many local businesses and tradespeople were left thousands out of pocket when Portsmouth went belly up, in some cases it caused those people having to close their businesses (mainly self employed people like plumbers, sparky’s etc).

I doubt there are many who 'invested' that did so seeking a return.

Agreed and I recall a lot of people saying so at the time but the OP must have concerns otherwise they wouldn’t have posted so I suspect there may be people out there who would prefer not to lose everything.
Training Ground Bond trouble on 21:20 - Jul 6 with 2650 views | jonath1 | I'm not so worried about the Tifosy Bonds themselves, which are toddling along fine, it's the effect on my ability to to do anything online with the QPR club accounts that is the problem. I can't buy tickets, or anything from the club shop, and have lost the majority of my loyalty points. I was wondering if anyone else had suffered the same, as a result of buying Bonds, or from any other account muddle.
Training Ground Bond trouble on 21:28 - Jul 6 with 2588 views | numptydumpty | I got 5% interest for each of the five years and three percent in QPR Cash to spend in the shop. Its the last season this year but if we get promoted I will get a 25% bonus on top. Very unlikely but who knows. So got 8% every year and a potential another 25% on top as a possibility. Its been a good investment for me but I have had £150 to waste on merchandise every season. Have one too many QPR t shirts now !!! Had a great deal of trouble with working out how to apply the QPR Cash myself. Their system simply doesn't work very well. Somehow I have managed it after hours wasted and getting frustrated. Hope you managed to sort out your QPR Cash yourself. Brewery and p*ss up are the three words that come to mind !! [Post edited 6 Jul 21:31]

Training Ground Bond trouble on 22:17 - Jul 6 with 2411 views | derbyhoop | The investment paid 5% in cash + 3% in club shop. The club shop element was only valid to the end of the QPR financial year. For me that has mant buying stuff I wouldn't normally have bought. Even so, the interest on the Bond is not insubstantial. Even better, if we get promoted. The OPs problems seem to stem from issues with his club account rather than anything related to Tifosy. So far, I'm happy with my choice to invest. Ask me again when I try to reclaim the investment.

I'm not sure who is in charge of the box office? Have they identified what the issue is? I know I once had a similar issue and they had to merge the accounts which resolved it.
Training Ground Bond trouble on 23:30 - Jul 6 with 2123 views | CopenhagenRs | It mostly sounds like an issue with email registration in relation to the different accounts. Maybe you have used different emails since they can't be consolidated into one. I haven't experienced that problem and can easily get my bonus settled in the club shop without it affecting ticket purchases and QPR plus. The best thing I got out of the bonds is having my name on the board outside the training facility. That leaves a mark somehow. It will be interesting though to see if the names are removed after the 5 years have passed!? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think email addresses are the problem. Whoever created the new account used the same email address as I already had an account under. I didn't create it, as you can't have two account with the same email, so it must have been someone in the box-office or at the club. When they tried to merge the accounts they in fact deleted my old account, then re-instated it, and now I'm left with a mess and lost loyalty points. It doesn't sound as though this has happened to anyone else though, which was what I was posting to discover. I'll just have to live with it or start again with another email address. I am a bit upset at having all my online supporting history erased.
Training Ground Bond trouble on 09:22 - Jul 7 with 1645 views | Jeff | as someone who has a bond correctly linked to their QPR account with no issues, but also works in IT and has to deal with this sort of issue of multiple accounts on occasions, this unfortunately looks like one of those human errors where the attempt to merge accounts has resulted in the deletion of the wrong one an exacerbating the original issue. you have my sympathy, but i'm afraid there's not much more i can offer you (unless you want me to buy you something from the club shop with my QPR cash? )

Training Ground Bond trouble on 11:21 - Jul 7 with 1377 views | francisbowles | Adding to what Jeff has said, as the original loyalty points and history seems to have been wiped and, although Box Office team have tried their best, you are dissatisfied with the outcome. Therefore, your only chance of a better solution is to move it up the chain of command to Chairman and CEO, Hoos and Noury. They are in positiond where discretion could be applied if they believe it fair to everyone. Make your best case, in writing, with whatever supporting evidence you may have. Good luck.

My mate has ~4 QPR linked support accounts, each of which have at various times had a season ticket or membership. So, when buying him a ticket I often just have to randomly pick one of the linked accounts. He has asked whether he should try and get them linked - and I have always told him no for this very reason.
Training Ground Bond trouble on 12:25 - Jul 7 with 1174 views | gazza1 | I have had the bonds since it was offered a few years ago. Investment is decent as far as I am concerned.....5% which is ok plus 3% in club shop which is also ok. I have also a very nice limited edition QPR badge & had dinner for two in the W12 club which is also very good. So 8% plus extra's is very decent as far as I am concerned. Get promotion this season and I would have done very, very well our of the money I paid to Tivosy. I did it for the Club but if the investment, from my side, was not good I would not have done it. Never had an issue with anything about Tivosy and I have thought about investing in other Clubs but did not 'jump'.

Training Ground Bond trouble on 10:11 - Jul 9 with 287 views | jonath1 | Just to say that Katie (E-Commerce Manager / Assistant Store Manager) sorted the QPR cash out for me finally. Katie is the one! For future reference. I have now set her to hunt down my lost loyalty points, but that may be a bridge too far.
