The only stats I can find for him suggest he is 5 9” and weighs just under 10 stone. Kante was small but an excellent defensive midfielder. Mani being the exception. He could easily be the free defender at corners to attack the ball, similar to Calvin Andrew. Plus we defended well last year, but thus far we haven’t recruited much height again.

Maidenhead is only a couple of junctions down the M4 from me so I've found myself watching them quite a bit over the past few years when it hasnt been possible to get up North. Although he dropped off a bit last season in what was a poor Maidenhead side overall, I think this is a really great signing. Pettit can most definitely play in the Football League on the basis of what I've seen.

It doesn’t really matter.

There will be a budget set and pretty sure the Ogdens will make sure we are inside it.

This is not reckless spending it will be very strategic.
