There has to be a balance mate. I agree, I’d much rather us be sponsored by a global brand than Westacres or the Uni and have the revenue that would bring.
I’m all for promoting us around the globe and having fans everywhere. There has to be a line somewhere for me. I can imagine a fake beef between Reynolds and Snoop becoming very cringeworthy and at that point I’d probably be thinking - ‘we’re a football club not a pantomime’. Not everyone would agree as long as the money was coming in and that’s fair enough.
It wouldn’t be as bad as changing the shirt colour or putting a dragon on the badge I agree, but it’s kind of in the same direction.
If we can do it without undermining ourselves, which in my opinion, inventing a rivalry with Wrexham to be played out on TikTok would be, I’ll be happy. |

This years has a different collar and sleeve cuff, black and white as worn by Snoop. Last year it was different with red stripes instead of this year black and white check. Well so I have been told. | | | |

We have got billionaire owners, but under PSR they can't put in more money than they are. They notoriety high profile people can bring us is far more important than money. Comercialism is far more important to us than the cash, we have to increase income to be allowed to spend within the regulations. | | | |

No, it makes it even more plausible.
Wrexham generate far more money than they naturally would because of who their owners are. They can’t just pump money in now they are in the championship, but they can make huge money from Netflix documentaries and the associated advertising deals.
Nothing wrong with what they are doing, but it does give them a massive advantage and it’s nothing to do with the club really. | | | |
