Then there were three or maybe two on 17:58 - Jul 14 with 812 views | Dr_Winston | Might be an idea to hold fire on redeveloping St. Helens. There's a better than decent chance that it won't be needed.

Cardiff more than safe.

There lies the problem, if the WRU hadn't bailed Cardiff out it would have automatically been three by default. Now Cardiff are ring fenced, Newport have signed up for 5 years so will sue if dropped. Two teams in the East and none in the west won't work logistically for development through the ages to full international. Basically the WRU have cocked up big time. The only answer is two new regions East and West, both with new names and identities. One playing at Parc Scarlets the other at the Arms Park and playing in the English Premiership, With Ospreys, Scarlets, Dragons and Cardiff playing in the Super Rygbi Cymru league.

I agree, at a push 3 regions if they can put one up North but tput the old clubs back in We.sh system and put the regions in the English system. Best of both worlds. The regions can "draft" players from the clubs.
Then there were three or maybe two on 21:01 - Jul 14 with 612 views | max936 | There'll be riots if they kick the Ospreys into touch, they are the only true region and the most successful region. Nothing will change with these clowns in Westgate Street anyway they couldn't run a bath. Their main focus is Cardiff RFU, they're looking far and wide for a "buyer" what they are not telling us is what incentives are they offering, cause you can absolutely guarantee that they are making offers. There is a region in the north RGC who play in the Super Rygbi Cymru league who feed and develop through the system like the other regions. This is why I say drop the other four regions into this league and have two super teams East and West in the English Premiership. Players from Super Rygbi Cymru league feed into the Regions as it is and the Regions place their academy players in the Super Rygbi Cymru league teams in their area, its a two way thing. North Wales will never be as strong but the structure is in place.
