£30 cap is premier league only, there was talk of it being done in the championship a while back but i think it was over ruled.
To be honest i doubt many people thought the championship would be cheaper, it's definitely a better league but with no caps on ticket prices and clubs needing ticket revenue more it was always going to be more expensive, especially as others have said because we''ll be cat A for most clubs | | | |

They seem to have improved the purchasing experience on the ticket site in comparison to the ball ache of getting Northampton tickets. Access was switched on pretty much bang on 9.30am, which is probably fairer than previous seasons when you could regularly get on a good 15 minutes before the window.
However, despite getting on immediately, the entire middle section and therefore all the best seats were already greyed out and unavailable to purchase....presumably for friends, family and corporates. Cheers Solak. |  |

I logged in at 9:20 and got pretty much exactly the seats i wanted, and the good news was the site didn't fall apart on me.
Still slightly salty at the cost to be fair but it is what it is and you can't blame saints for that.

They are mostly reserved for away season ticket holders who attend all away games.

It's called The Saints Away Travel Scheme.
As the name suggests, it includes coach and match day tickets. Although there are loads more regular supporters sat together than travel on the coaches i would assume that coach travel isn't compulsory.
I've been a member since the L1 days, and have never had to sweat on whether i would be early enough in the queue. The ticket just turns up in the post.
It's not every bodies cup of tea. But if you don't mind being called a bingo bus happy clapper, which i don't, then it's fine. | | | |

London Saints can get up to 50 tickets
Despite poor performances last season we averaged 46 supporters per league game last season, lowest turn out at Liverpool, Northern Saints and COSLAW, have similar arrangements but generally have far less tickets
Nb there are still around 300 tickets left for Ipswich at the moment, a combination of high ticket prices, noon kick off on a Sunday and game on Sky seemed to have taken there toll on sales [Post edited 25 Jul 12:26]
