Ipswich away tickets 11:10 - Jul 22 with 2305 views | franniesTache | Less than three weeks before the game and the club still haven't released the ticket details, even by the shoddy standard of our ticket office that is poor. It does also make the cynic in me wonder if it means the club are going to try and make away tickets digital too? Because their track record of posting tickets out is bloody awful

Ipswich away tickets on 14:50 - Jul 22 by franniesTache | Actually announced them now and it's £43 for an adult ticket, given it's a sunday and there's bus replacement i'd be impressed if we sell that out tbf |
So what happened to the blessing of relegation providing cheaper tickets? And the £30 max for away games or is that only for the rich clubs that make up the Premier League?

£30 cap is premier league only, there was talk of it being done in the championship a while back but i think it was over ruled. To be honest i doubt many people thought the championship would be cheaper, it's definitely a better league but with no caps on ticket prices and clubs needing ticket revenue more it was always going to be more expensive, especially as others have said because we''ll be cat A for most clubs

Not the greatest thinking by the club to build an away section that can't adapt to give away supporters less tickets, unless they do have the ability to segregate it off but it hasn't been needed yet as all the teams last season took the whole 3,000

Ipswich away tickets on 09:58 - Jul 23 with 599 views | Buggalugs | They seem to have improved the purchasing experience on the ticket site in comparison to the ball ache of getting Northampton tickets. Access was switched on pretty much bang on 9.30am, which is probably fairer than previous seasons when you could regularly get on a good 15 minutes before the window. However, despite getting on immediately, the entire middle section and therefore all the best seats were already greyed out and unavailable to purchase....presumably for friends, family and corporates. Cheers Solak.

I logged in at 9:20 and got pretty much exactly the seats i wanted, and the good news was the site didn't fall apart on me. Still slightly salty at the cost to be fair but it is what it is and you can't blame saints for that. Should probably book my train/bus tickets now really

Sorry mate. Your presumption that these reserved tickets are for friends, family and corporate is way of the mark. They are mostly reserved for away season ticket holders who attend all away games. I have no problem with that.

I didn't even know there was such a thing as an away season ticket. If that is the case, I don't think much our the clubs marketing department considering I've probably missed more home games than aways over the last few seasons..

There isn't such a thing as an away season ticket, and it's the first i've heard that they're held back to people who do them all, i'd be surprised if that's true but doesn't mean it's not. Saying that i do know for a fact that the normal staff who work for the club aren't getting extra tickets this season for either home or away games, and are only getting the one for themselves

There used to be an away season ticket about 20 years ago where you could subscribe and the club would automatically issue you with a ticket and debit your bank account There wasn't a great take up because it meant you had to go to all the games and not miss one and back then it was quite easy to get an away ticket

It's called The Saints Away Travel Scheme. As the name suggests, it includes coach and match day tickets. Although there are loads more regular supporters sat together than travel on the coaches i would assume that coach travel isn't compulsory. I've been a member since the L1 days, and have never had to sweat on whether i would be early enough in the queue. The ticket just turns up in the post. It's not every bodies cup of tea. But if you don't mind being called a bingo bus happy clapper, which i don't, then it's fine.

It's a bit more flexible now. It's true to say that the overwhelming majority of fans who use this facility do go to every game. But if you let the club know in plenty of time that you are unable to attend certain games , you will not be charged for these games. In all the years i've been on the scheme i've only ever had 2 mishaps with non arrival of tickets. The club couldn't of been more helpful, arranging for me to collect replacement tickets at the away ground itself.

I knew that the London Saints have an arrangement with the club that providing that their members meet the criteria in terms of number of games needed to purchase, they can pre order a block of tickets for the away games, but this would account for around 20 or so i think. Club sponsors take up a fair chunk of away tickets, I am not sure how many but could be 100 or more

Is it indeed true (as I have heard it so many times that it almost has legendary status bestowed on it as a thing), that the bingo is rigged?

London Saints can get up to 50 tickets Despite poor performances last season we averaged 46 supporters per league game last season, lowest turn out at Liverpool, Northern Saints and COSLAW, have similar arrangements but generally have far less tickets Nb there are still around 300 tickets left for Ipswich at the moment, a combination of high ticket prices, noon kick off on a Sunday and game on Sky seemed to have taken there toll on sales [Post edited 25 Jul 12:26]
