As always, he didn't have very good players at Saints, with terrible owners. As I said in the other thread, the managers we all slate as rubbish, are ONLY rubbish at Saints. I wonder why that could be 🤔

He has won one game lol, perhaps we should all take a look in the mirror over the last 9 years since Koeman left, the Saints job has become a poisoned chalice, Why ????

Its very simple in my view. When the manager has Mane, Pelle, Lambert, Tadic, Adams, Ings up front (and a few decent ones elsewhere) you win games. When the manager has inexperienced young players, that nobody else wanted, and poor quality players for the level you're playing at leading the line, you don't win games.
And since Sport Republic took charge, the recruitment has been terrible. Ralph demanded a striker when Ings left and wasn't given one. It was no surprise when we didn't score goals. In RMs time, we had poor quality up front in particular, so we didn't score and we didn't win games. Again Adams wasn't replaced.
The fans blame the manager every time, and that's why it's a poisoned chalice.

Because we have terrible fans if we were more like the passionate Liverpool fans we’d be in the champions league?
It is only the first leg and against a team that had a player sent off.
The stats in the 1st half suggested it was the old RM, loads of posession and little attempt on goal.
I have no regrets he has gone. If he doesn't finish above Celtic the fans will soon turn on him. In that league it will soon be apparent if Rangers will win the title.

But Rangers won't finish above Celtic no matter who's in charge just yet. 18 points and about a 45 goal difference between them last season so a helluva turn round will be needed

Fans fault.
We would be winning European trophies if we had a dominant ‘Happy Clapper’ fanbase
Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......
