I’ve noticed he’s been playing at right back the last two games. He was outstanding for QPR last season at centre back, was called up for England U21 to play at centre back and we play him at right back despite having plenty of other right backs.

We don’t have 8 centre backs ready to jump into the first team mate.
My point is Edwards is a very good proven centre back good enough to be picked in that position for England. I also expect Bellis and Bednarek will leave . [Post edited 27 Jul 10:42]

Now that they know that supporters are questioning Edwards' as a right back, they'll make it permanent just to fly in the face of what's right because in their tiny minds the supporters don't know what they're talking about. A bit of an extreme opinion I know, but you could be forgiven for thinking that's the case - all logical suggestions such as bring in an experienced Championship player/manager - we get Still. Suggest that Stephens is a massive liability and should be gone - they make him captain and give him a new three year contract. Fans calling for the head of Martin for obvious reasons, they leave it far too late and bring in Juric, another manager with absolutely no experience of English football....and so it goes on.

I agree Ron, I won’t be happy until SR are gone either, the trouble is, they are a cancer eating this our club alive from the inside and by the time they are finished there won’t be much of a club left and the damage they will have done will take many years to rectify. It seems to me the muppets never learn and keep repeating the same mistakes evidenced recently by the awarding of a new three year contract to Kaptain Kack (that’s my daughter’s new name for him, or ‘Special K’ for short). Absolute insanity. I have zero faith in SR ever changing their blinkered, mistake ridden approach, I would be delighted to be proved wrong but I’m not holding my breath… |  | | |
